Ok..
Let us take a look on their greatest abilities.

SARUTOBI:
1.Mastery over all type of shinobi combat.
2.Greatest chakra control.
3.High skill in elemental ninjutsu.
4.His unique summon: Enma

as for TOBI:
1.Sharingan and rinnegan
2.Space-time ninjutsu
3.Yin Yang release
4.Summon: 9 tailed demon fox.

Against each other:
sarutobi can take on his elemental ninjutsu in no time.As for his rinnegan,well,if naruto can point out its disabilities,sarutobi also can because he is far intelligent than him.I have a doubt how will he act against tobi's s/t tech..9tails is sealed,so tobi cant use it against him.Tobi also has izanagi and yin yang release.

So, what u say? Who would win??

Assuming Sarutobi does live up to his name when he is in his prime, he probably would have a counter to s/t techniques. His stamina and strength would also be increased by leaps and bounds. If tobi does not have 9 tailed demon fox, than i think that Hiruzen might win. Tobi, with the rinnegan, will match sarutobi in ninjutsu. Sharingan may give him the edge, but Hiruzen may last longer. All in all, until we see Prime Hiruzen in battle, i'll call it a draw.
