Might Guy ( 8 Gates ) vs Akatsuki Gauntlet

Might Guy opens the 8 gates to fight Akatsuki members if he wins he fights another member in the following order ( from weakest to strongest in my opinion )

Hidan
Konan ( without preparation )
Kakazu
Kisame ( he has samehada this time , but it would make no difference , afternoon tiger can't be absorbed )
Deidra ( c0 restricted )
Sasori
Itachi
Pain ( 6 paths of pain not Nagato )

He doesn't need to kill , just defeat him like he did to Kisame.How far can Guy go all the way from Hidan till Pain .

N.B 8 gates doesn't tire him out in this.

Pain lacks mobility and the only way he can repel gai's taijutsu is shinra tensei. But it requires a cooldown. Gai will recover and hit pain easily.

Makes no difference really. Gai is just too fast. He'll just wreck one path by one path. The power behind Gai's punches are just too hard. No path can take a hit. Deva may try shinra tensei but it takes awhile to do it again. Gai will just wreck Deva again. ^_^

ok does he open all 8 or just up to seven ? if he opened the 8th he dies after awhile with no way around it.id say all the way to itachi. Becaus eby this time he will surely have taken some damage from sasoris poisin and deideras explosives

He could jump high distance & he can use his turtle shell to jump higher , so he can reach them unless they fly to the level where Pain was at while nuking Konoha.

Saskura evaded the poison with Chiyo's help , surely Guy with his speed will evade the poison , same for explosives of Deidra.
