ive installed but nothing worksInstall drivers? WLAN driver, make sure it is turned on.
So there is a physical switch for the wireless? Definitely turn that on. What OS Are you running? Is it a Mac or a PC? And what version of the OS? Windows Vista/XP/7?use the switch on the front or side of the computer,or function keys if avaible to enable wireless capabality on this computer what mean this
That means you are turning on the WLAN driver which enables connection. What I would do is go to the nearest hotspot like McDonalds, then see if you have connection if not try to reinstall the driver and try again. If that still doesn't help there might be a update to that specific laptop and that driver. AND if that still doens't solve the problem it has to be the adapter.use the switch on the front or side of the computer,or function keys if avaible to enable wireless capabality on this computer what mean this

Do you know how to run the command prompt? If not, click on the start button/start globe and in the search box type "cmd.exe" then press enter. Once that's done, a black box with white writing will appear. In that box, type "ipconfig" and press enter. Look for "Default Gateway". It should have a number like 192.168.0.1 or something next to it. What is that number?sure

Open a new tab or page in your web browser and type that in. When you go there, it will let you sign into the modem. Wireless may not be enabled, but you should be able to turn that on this way.this why you want it ?
