Naruto's Abilities

I'm kind of new to the Naruto world and was wondering if Naruto had any abilities besides a rasengen and its different versions and shadow clones.
The different rasengens are good in certain situations, but they seem kind of limited.

I understand making sure your main character has a few notable techniques, but why make him seem so inept with only two?

he does have that collaberation jutsu and soummons working on tailed beast bomb but your right he should have more also i think there hooking him up with ftg but it is debatable wether he needs it

why doesnt kishi ever do ANYTHING with the knowledge of his wind affinity besides spam it with the rasengan?

I was just thinking how much cooler the various Naruto battles would be if he could throw around tornados and stuff.
