Good point, if you could back up your words by what Tobi and Madara said, would be better.

what makes you think that? think about the position tobi was when he found out and the position madara was in when he found out. tobi just didnt know kabuto could perform the edo tensei jutsu and later asked him how it works.

Just because Madara knew what it was for, doesnt mean he knows the jutsu well. Just saying its an atrocity to the flow of life and death just means he knows of it, not how it works.

Tobi and Madara both know of Edo Tensei. Tobi knows more as he knows how it works and how to stop it, but Madara knows what it's purpose was for, to eliminate the battlefield along with the caster.
