that's my point, if rinnegan is that overpowered and if the outher path have power over death, it may pwn the shinigami and bring back the soul and the dead himself

The jutsu and the would have to completely defy death in every way shape and form, or somehow exploit some weakness in the reaper death seal we don't know about. but really with what we know of it you can't really see a weakness, I mean their souls are being held by the grim reaper himself (him/her/it).

The Rinnegan itself is derived from the idea of reincarnation ( Samsara Eye. Samsara is somehow related to reincarnation ). So yeah, I'm sure that jutsu could completely defy death, seeing as the Doujutsu defies death when it brings ppl back to life. Or at least it wouldnt be too surprising.

It might be able to revive them. Rinne tensei revived kakashi even though he wasn't in the "pure world" where the souls go after they die. If not, the complete form of izanagi might be able to bring them back.

I hope kishi does bring them back or at least free them from the reaper seal, cuz its pretty much like going to hell (or as close to hell as narutoverse allows).

yeah, i was thinking on that when i created the thread, it's sad that every dead hokage is suffering like that, and the manga shouldn't end without someone helping them
