DBZ: UT was a huge fail to me.
If you bought it, the character roster is trash.
NO regular Gotenks, nor Super Buu Gotenks Absorbed.
Only GT characters are SSJ4 Gogeta and OMEGA (Key word) Omega Shenron.
Forty characters w/ 62 including transformations.
You can't even do a proper combo with this new gameplay fighting.

But the game has good parts. Good graphics, nice DBZ story.

But doesn't this game sound

I think it's pretty fun. They style is nonetheless unorthodox. But it also reduces the spamming of melee moves that you cant get out of.. The clashes give you a more cinematic feel to the game and makes it as if you're playing in the show rather then a video game. Destructible environments makes it loo more like a episode of DBZ and makes the battles more intense. I haven't played alot of the games since I just got it. But ill keep people posted and im sure they are saving other characters for DLC. 40 characters is alot. although i know it doesn't comapre to previous titles.

I liked it, the new style doesn't let you just spam attacks anymore, there is more thinking now since its not just your ki but your spirit level as well. Also the story mode is better and more intense. The create your player is epic as well, just got my character to go ssj1 and it was awesome. The fights do feel more anime like with the environment changing in a big way. Also the characters they don't have are all lame and no one plays them anyway, they stuck to the true story and that is good. Graphics are of course way better as well.

Overall I think this one is the best ps3 DBZ game for sure...

I thought it was pretty fun. I like how you can create your own dbz character. Lol and i love that it flat screen style but 3d at the same time when it comes to the fighting. >_>
so do you have it?

you can create a character? is the customization deep in the game? how does it work? explain?
Yeah I was playing the demo and I was confused as to why they change the fighting mechanism. It made it more complicated and not fun to play. I didn't even bother buying the game.
lol you think it sucks to?

First you have three different styles: standard, light, and heavy...this will depend on what moves the character can learn.
Then you have a master that you will train for six sessions, this will teach you different moves and improve your stats. Also you can change to different masters as each one have different stuff they teach and what stats they improve.
Also you can change outfit, hair, and color for both...as the game goes you unlock more customizations for each.
You can go around the "world" and fight small fights and improve stats, and to progress in the story you fight boss fights, for instance to get my character to ssj1 I fought Piccolo and there is a story for it. Also the story isn't just a mirror of the original story.

Hope this helps :)
