How about it is the finished rasengan that can be thrown, but........... this time if it is thrown it doesn't hurt the user cause he is not near the blast??? Actually I don't want that to be rasengan cause I am sick of rasengans (rasengan, Oodama rasengan, futon rasengan (just a little wind), BIG ball rasengan (J-man) , raseshuriken) but here is an idea?? If I recall the chakra that the bijuus are made of does not belong to any specific type. At least we have seen almost all the bijuus fighting and none of them has shown any element.
My understanding is that elemental chakra might only apply to humans and not bijuus, therefore, the 9-t chakra is just that...chakra.
That makes me believe that it will be impossible (like most of the members have assumed) for us to see naruto's chakra mixed with the 9-t one, actually...his chakra has never been mixed.

"that jutsu" in the picture abuv is the shinigami death seal the fourth used... that diagram on the toad showed was the seal on narutos stomach and jiraiya said he left the jutsus diagram behind, a clear sign he wanted naruto to complete "that jutsu" meaning he wanted naruto to summon the shinigami and seal it without sacrificeing your own life! kishi didnt do to well to conceal that one... tsk tsk
PS - there are either 2 that jutsu's or the rumers were true that j-man said "that power" not "that jutsu" when they returned to konoha
