I believe it is the form of currency to buy Gifs and jutsu's but i'm not sure either.

You can buy signatures, or avatars from other members who have created them in photoshop, or like-wise programs. I recommend just saving it up. 5k is a lot.

No when Nexus introduce Kumi, every member got 5k.
