Who Killed Madara?

Was it Nagato?
Was it Shisui (Tobi)?
Was it Itachi?
Was it his brother?

However I am thinking, what can trigger Madara to awaken Rinnengan right before his death? It must be someone very near to him Izuna!? Umm, this question is just as big as who is behind Tobi's mask (Although I feel as though it is Shisui )..

Who could be that powerful to defeat Madara?
All I can think of is, Izuna & Shisui (At that time no one eles was as powerful to stop Madara & Minato was already gone )

Izuna or Shisui, the only two ones powerful enough to take out Madara (Nagato was too young to do so or was he?)

I also think it was old age, and about the revival of how he is now. lets not forget what kabuto said, that he made madara's summoning a bit different. do the words "you have been completed beyond what you were in your prime" meen anything??
I belive this is supposed to be interpreted as giving back madara's body as it was befor the fight with the first (wich left him seriously dammaged, a shell of his former self) but it included any advances he made from that point, his EMS transforming into Rinnegan and all the powers that came with it. perhaps his chakra reserves were cut down sevearly by the first and he was unable to actualy use the rinnegan propperly, but now he is.

Nagato could have done it also he does have rinnegan.

Look if your over 100 years old and you just trigger the Release of the Rinnegan at that age the stress on an old man might have lead to stroke or hearth failure at that age and before you can learn and access all the benefits of the eye and cure yourself your death. That is one explanation, the other would be Tobi might have hasten Madara death by not giving aid to Madara when He awoke the Rinnegan.

dude it was the first hokage. they said it plenty of times throughout the manga.

Hashirama died before the second great ninja war, so he wasn't the one who killed Madara.
