Old usernames?

This has been something which has been on my mind for a while now. Constantly I've seen people who change their usernames on those Username Change days. As someone who really doesn't pay attention to that place, sometimes it's hard to tell if someone who has changed their username has either changed it or it's an entirely different account.

I say this because I do frequent the graphics areas, and seeing people say to others they've improved and I don't know if they have because I can't tell if they've changed their username or not.

Is there anyway there could be something like this on the site? Even just putting the name changes in the statistics section or something, which then iirc means you can hover over someone's username and have previous usernames come up.

I guess that can help, but it's not the point. If I was say, suspicious of a user who had an old username I could go to the statistics section on their profile and see their old usernames, instead of going to the list and trying to find their old name forever.

That would not be possible i think. Some users have names changed multiple times,so the stats would have to show 4 or 5 different names for one user. Or a potentially much larger amount for premium users.

@Kurogane that list is nearly impossible. Normally, I'd use my browser's "find" function. But they're images, not text.

@Isthatnecessary we already have unique IDs. yours is 15312, for instance. As for the rest, did you mean turning those table entries into links to their respective IDs? I think the staff would rather die than do that. xd name changes aren't automatic and writing it out at the end takes time. It would be useful, though

I don't see how it can't be possible. Some people may have changed their name 4-5 times or more, but I highly doubt people have changed their name more than ten times. And it would only have to be in the statistics section on one's profile.

Even if that were introduced here, if you're suspicious of any given user and said user decides to set the privacy option on their profile, you still won't see all their past usernames.

But out of all the active members here at NarutoBase, how many of them have their privacy settings on to the max so no one would be able to see a feature like this?

Personally I see no downside to this. It'll be good to see what usernames other people have had, and it could also be nice to keep a track of one's own personal username changes. ^_^
