madara did give nagato rinnegan proof

in the latest chapter we see that madara is able to activate and deactivate his rinnegan
whenever we saw nagato his was always active eve since he awakened
even after he died his eyes were still rinnegan eyes
its like how kakashi's sharingan always active and so was nagato' rinnegan cuz he was never born with it

We never saw what nagato's eyes looked like before he activated/awakened the rinnegan... Meaning? kishi was hiding something from us. And it only makes sense that he was given the rinnegan because he can't deactivate it...

The SO6P and His First Son are also shown with their eyes active all the time so that disproves your theory.
