StarWars Vs LoTR Vs The Godfather

i don´t know, really, i am HUGE, i mean REAAAAAAAALLY HUGE fan of Star Wars, but unfortunately i would go for LOTR, at least i think xd, i personally didn´t like parts with Frodo in LOTR 2 and LOTR 3, so i skip them xd, but still go with LOTR xd

You can't compare these great movies with the idea "which is the best".
Everyone has their own taste and the fact how much their creators differ from each other.
Example, Tolkien spent his entire life to LoTR. It was his life's work.
Lucas, made his story in to a movie after couple of years or so and was there himself, to direct his own story.
The Godfather, well it can all be "copied" from real life basically.

But this is just all in a nutshell, I just can't understand how these can be even compared in such manner as "this sux SABERS BEFORE SWURDS" or something similar.
I don't like Godfather my self, but I do like Star Wars (the old ones) and LoTR movies as well as a story.
But I have to give LoTR since it has been here for a long time and the wideness of details the creator came up with and carefully molded to balance.
It just takes the cake for me.​
