Skypiea was....different. It'll probably be pretty boring and confusing at first but it gets much better and funnier.

Skypeia was my lest favorite arc, that is the one time i came close to stopping OP, although Luffy's fight is brilliant and saved that arc. Your coming closer and closer to the Water 7 arc which leads to the best arc in the series IMO

I agree. Skypiea did have plenty of laughs at least. I skipped all of those flashbacks about those people though since they were stupid.

It's not that of a bad arc, it's Allright, there are funny parts here and there, but the battle between Luffy is Enel is also very nice, so just carry on watching as it is

i wouldnt skip allof it. Just watch the parts that dont annoy you

Yes, you need to watch. No new crew members but its still something you need to see. It introduces something you'll see later on, which is pretty awesome.

Skypedia introduces a lot of stuff that plays a role in future arcs. I would recoomend to just watch it and maybe fastforward around some scenes that are skipable. The fights are pretty good.

Finally reached the G-8 arc, most of Skypiea was a major letdown :S skipped through alot of episodes o.o
