Kagami uchiha
its Madara who was in the coffin and so i did this theory about who I think the person claiming to be Madara is many things come from others so i dont take credit for anything.
I believe that Tobi is Kagami Uchiha.
Kagami Uchiha was in the same team as Danzo Shimura, Hiruzen Sarutobi, Torifu Akimichi, Homura Mitokado and Koharu Utatane.
These people were trained by the Second Hokage so they were alive when Madara and Hashirama was alive aswell. When Madara was killed by Hashirama Kagami swore to avenge Madara. Madara was his hero and Kagami followed his warideals.+
Tobirama knew this because he was his master and thats why he secluded the Uchihas to prevent an uprising.
After the first Shinobi world war. The Second Hokages unit came very far. Danzo created Root, Hiruzen became Hokage and Homura and Koharu became respected advisors to the Hokages. Kagami tried to provoke the Second Shinobi war. Nagato said that Konoha started this war. Hiruzen was Hokage during this and he wouldnt do this but Nagato was not wrong. It was Kagami who was a konoha ninja who started the war and made it look like Konoha was to blame.
It was during the second shinobi war that Nagato awakend the Rinnegan and the original akatsuki was formed by Yahiko Konan and Nagato.
As they gained a bigger reputation Hanzo tried to destroy them and he got help from Danzo. After Nagato had used the rinnegan against them. Danzo told Kagami about this event since Kagami was close to him, Kagami was also part of the Anbu Root. Thats why he has masks and the black anbu cloak to conceal his identity.
As Kagami heard about the Rinnegans existance he went to Nagato and used his hatred into overthrowing Hanzo and changing the Akatsuki to go after Bijuus.
Kagamis had been hoping that someone would awaken the rinnegan by the war. Thats why he claimed to be the one to spur Yahiko into forming the Akatsuki and to give Nagato the Rinnegan because he was the one to blame for the war.
Then we move on the the Uchiha slaughter.
But first I want to add that Kagami is about the same age as Danzo, Koharu and Homura as we can see here:
If he really was Immortal then he wouldnt have aged like that. And he wouldnt have cursed Nagato for using his healing technique and saying that he needed it. Kagami is as old as Hiruzen and Danzo would have been and as Koharu and Homura is and he is not immortal. He cant get immortal just from using Hashiramas cells, otherwise why isnt Hashirama alive today? And why didnt Orochimaru use it since he also experimented on it?
Back to Uchiha.
Kagami was trying to start the Uchihas coup d'eat to take over Konohagakure.
The people that were strongly against Kagami was ofcourse Itachi and Shisui. Itachi kept it secret because his father told him so as he feared for Itachis life. But Shisui confronted Kagami about this. And then agami killed him. By doing so Itachi awakend the Mangekyo sharingan just like Kakashi awakened his from Obitos death. You dont have to kill you best friend only know of his death. Its the suffering thats important, i think.
When the Police confronted Itachi about Shisuis death Itachi got really angry and you can see his father silencing him and coming up with an excuse so that he wouldnt be in danger. This also proves that Itachi was not
a dubbelspy as he would have needed to be emotionless to pull that off but he wasnt. He didnt become that until after the slaughter of the clan.
Eventually the Uchiha clan refused the coup d'eat and Kagami felt as outcasted as Madara had been this led to him spilling the beans about the Uchihas plans not telling them he was behind it instead telling them the Uchihas were actually going to do it. As they didnt know better since the Uchihas were secluded from the village they believed him and Danzo ordered him and Itachi to carry out the job of the mass slaughter. But really this was Kagamis revenge for Madara and himself against the clan.
Itachi might not even have killed the people he loved as Kagami told Sasuske it might have been Kagami. But as they died his eyepowers grew bigger. The reason why Itachi never told Sasuke the truth was because if Sasuke would know then Kagami would kill him. Thats why he blamed himself.
He lied to Sasuke telling him he had a desire for power. And he assulted him because he wanted there to be absolutely no chance that Sasuke would know that Kagami was behind it because then Sasuke might find out that Madara was really Kagami and then Kagami would kill him.
He was also leaking information from Akatsuki to Jiraya so Jiraya knew the truth about him (but not entierly as he didnt know of Kagami and Itachi assulted Sasuke when he saw Jiraya because he was afraid Jiraya have revealed something and he wanted to make sure Sasuke wouldt believe it.
Itachi also took on the mission to hunt down the 9tails as he did not want Naruto to be captured. Its safe to say he and Kisame could have put up a bigger fight against Jiraya but didnt because Itachi didnt want to capture Naruto as he was Sasukes best friend. He might have also told Jiraya about them coming so that he could protect Naruto.
When Itachi was fighting Sasuke he chose the Uchiha hideout because he wanted it to be destroyed because it was probably something Kagami liked. Perhaps Madara built the throne in that place.
Itachi told Sasuke when he confronted him that Madara was an utterless defeated loser. (or something like that). He still couldnt tell him the truth since Zetsu was recording the fight. Kagami wanted to whatch it so that he would know Itachi didnt reveal anything. But Itachi sent a coded message because it is true that Madara was a defeated loser.
The real Madara never brought the Uchia to victory over the Senju. He became an outcast from his own clan and he was defeated by Hashirama as he fought him in revenge for not getting the Hokage seat. The real Madara would never accomplish what Kagami has done.
Kagami also dousnt look like Madara. The hair is different and even the face seems different.
Now i move on to Kabuto.
Kabuto knows the thruth probably since he had worked with Orochimaru and Orochimaruhad worked with Danzo so even if Danzo didnt know what became of Kagami, Kabuto figured it out.
Kagami would not want to fight Madara and he would most certanly not want people to find out his true identity. He wants to kill Kabuto for knowing his secret but cant know because he needs him in the war.
And Kabuto doues not want Sasuke to kill him. He probably wants to thank him for killing Orochimaru as he has not grown to be more powerful and not just a pet to Orochimaru. And he wants to reveal the secret of Kagami to Sasuke so that Sasuke would aim all his hatred to him because he is responsible for Itachis suffering and not the Konohaleaders.
The picture of Kagami also matches "Tobi" he first took the identity of Tobi as a joke inspiered by his selfish image of Tobirama seeing him as an idiot.
