Sage Mode Naruto Vs Itachi

Rasenshuriken DID effect 3rd Raikage, his body just regenerated REALLY quickly. the sealing wraps were actually most of the way around his body but he recovered quickly enough to get out of them--it's clear to me he was out for a second but regenerated quickly, i mean you can see the cracks all over his body and it shows that he was out long enough to get some wraps around him and if he wasn't a zombie he wouldn't have regenerated at all. But Naruto HAS gotten Fkd up in Sage Mode, the dude has a point on that one but that doesn't mean sht about Sage Mode being bad or dull or overrated. Sage Mode is badass and Naruto genuinely defeated 3rd Raikage so you shouldn't try to take that away from him. but sage mode isn't infallable by any means.
Someone here mentioned Naruto could close his eyes and fight Itachi--i fully agree with that and have thought about that as well. he could do it in Sage Mode, or at the very very least his heightened senses would allow him to look at Itachi's feet for movement while also being aware of his upper body through the nature energy around him+his chakra sensory abilities. Add naruto's power and he has a real chance. The biggest thing in his way is SUSANOO. So Sage Mode Naruto vs Susanoo. I have NO idea what would happen. If he could hit with Rasenshuriken from behind and open the vulnerable spot like Danzou did, he would be quick enough to get through or get another rasenshuriken through. I don't know, I'm giving naruto the edge on this one. Just my thoughts, feel free to tear me a new one if you disagree. (although i'd prefer gentlemanly discussion)

Sage mode has been in two fights. Jiraiya vs pein and naruto vs pein and it both the users got defeated. Demon mode is what saved naruto, otherwise he was captured.

Sage mode is overrated, it still hasnt won a fight yet.

Itachi is the clear winner hear

just as someone else said ( in a different way), you can use a pistol and kill hundreds but is a rocket launcher and kill no one. so your reasoning is a missconception of something like this: Sharingan killed: 100 ( for example)
Sage mode killed: 1 (for example)

therefor for you it would be Sharingan ( itachi) > Sage mode naruto

if we are talking about genjutsu, naruto can aso put itachi in that paralysis genjutsu that the frogs did to pain.................although its no match for tsukuyomi.....................still it can't be taken lightly

itachi has the ability to reverse genjutsu.

u guys all going 4 itachi,i am itachi fan,but naruto will win.knw that naruto was not even on sage mode when pain pin him down,remember pain was counting d time 4 naruto sm to run out,secondly,i don't think genjutsu can work on naruto when on sm ,remember he is a high sensor ninja when in sm,and now he can stay as long as he want,cuz he has masterd it.

I said Naruto as he is now. Naruto has been shown to use his brains in battle against kakuza and after Itachi gave Naruto abut of wisdom Naruto has been using his brains even more. Against Muu he was smart enough to ask Gaara to use his sand to help him jump up towards Muu then know that Muu's attack was faster than his attack so stretched his chakra arm to close the gap. The best example would be the next battle, Naruto vs the 3rd Raikage. Naruto used what Itachi said about every jutsus has a weakness and with the proper info he came up realized how to beat the Raikage and used sage mode sensing ability to sense the Raikage's attack and countered. It's common fact that the 3rd Raikage is faster than Itachi by the fact that sasuke couldn't keep up with the 4th Raikage, sasuke's MS was able to follow his movements but sasuke wasn't fast enough to keep up with the 4th Raikage's speed which is why he had sasunoo up the whole time as protection. Sasuke is not as fast as Itachi but is close to his speed. The 3rd and 4th Raikage's speed are about the same, Naruto even remembers fighting the 4th Raikage while fighting the 3rd Raikage from the 3rd Raikage's speed. Naruto can use sage mode to sense a fast attack, dodge it and counter as he done with the 3rd Raikage and as for genjutsus, Naruto is a sensory type in sage mode and like all sensory types can tell if a genjutsu is in use. Karin (sasuke's old comrade) uses her sensing abilities while sasuke was fighting Danzo to see if she and sasuke were under a genjutsu so that means genjutsus are useless against Naruto in sage mode because his sensory abilities are far greater than Karin. Also now that Naruto has control over the fox's chakra he should be able to prevent the fox from stopping Ma and Pa toad from fusing with him and with there help the moment Naruto is placed in a genjutsus they could snap him out of it by inserting their chakra.

Itachi can't reverse that genjutsu, it is a genjutsu that has to be heard and it causes paralysis, it can't be reversed if Naruto didn't hear the frog song, it is not an ordinary genjutsu.

By no means like so many do I think Itachi is some sort of unbeatable God like so many idiots however I do think Naruto has an extreme weakness to genjutus that we have not seen him make much of an advancement against. Until him and that fox become friends (like bee and 8 tail) EVERYONE that has Genjutsu will beat him even with all that power he has.

The way Naruto tries to battle Itachi is by not looking at his eyes and he doesn't have KM, so speed will not go his way. I'd say Itachi with a little bit of a struggle. Genjutsu being Naruto worst problem as of now.

I am not sure who would win a battle such as this. Even Edo Tensei Itachi showed that he has more wisdom than Naruto in knowledge...but Itachi trusts Naruto to defeat or beat sense back into Sasuke and he has stated he can beat Sasuke without using genjutsu...with his own eyes. It'd be a epic battle but I can not say who would win it especially since I believe tthe fox would block genjutsu...so it may come down to hand to hand combat and Itachi's normal body can't be taking sage punches

Naruto doesn't stand a chance. SM Naruto went up against Pein and had to go 8 tails to even the fight at one point.

Nagato hinted in recent manga he wanted to find out whose eyes were more powerful. Implying he thought Itachi to be a worthy adversary.

Itachi may not have 6 paths or all elements. But he has the sharingan which stops Naruto being able to look at his eyes...and his hands he can't look at as last time he got trapped also.

The only way Naruto would win is if he broke SM and went 6T(which breaks this vs fights rules) were Gen is ineffective. But Sasuke was shown stopping Naruto using the Kyuubis power with his sharingan so even the Kyuubi might be out of the fight.

I dunno I don't see Naruto winning this one I don't even think he could beat Itachi just now in fox cloak.

itachi fan boy by any chance... naruto used his brain to quickly figure out how to beat the edo raikage.... if i had been itachi who had used the same method to beat him ud prob be puckering up to his ass!

I think Itachi would win but it would at great difficulty. Naruto knows how itachi's genjustu works so he will avoid looking at him and use shadow clones to keep from being trapped and trick him.

Itachi will probably be forced to use sasoono, and that will probably turn the tide of the battle. But if Danzo managed to damage sasukes, I think naruto might find around it so im not 100% sure on that either
