The Clan
There were once two ninjas, both rivals and brothers of the Uchiha Clan, Madara Uchiha and his brother. Both strived to become the best of their clan, no matter what the cost, even killing their best friend to obtain the Mangekyo Sharingan, wasn?t beneath them. Madara Uchiha ended up becoming the better of the two and became the head of the Uchiha Clan. But continue usage of the Mangekyo Sharingan, he discovered, lead him to blindness, so Madara was scared of his decline in power and stole his brother?s eyes and killed him out of desperation. This gave birth to Madara?s true powers the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan, and he continued to lead his clan and never looked back
The Revolution
Overtime Madara led his clan in many battles, the clan was noticed as one of the most powerful clans, and only one clan rivaled the Uchiha?s, The Senju Clan. They became bitter rivals and had many battles towards one another. Eventually they called a treaty and formed a new village, Konoha. Konoha began a revolution; they started a governmental system that many other countries would follow. A Daimyo was the head of the Fire Country but Konoha needed a Shinobi leader, a Hokage, Madara Uchiha was passed over by his own people and the rest of the village for the leader of the Senju Clan, Hashirama Senju. Madara felt betrayed and left Konoha, bitter.
The Crossroads
After some planning and discovering more secret to the Sharingan, Madara had only one agenda in mind, to destroy Konoha. He confronted the First Hokage at the Valley of the End, and the two had a long fought battle, Madara went so far as to summon the Kyuubi but in the end he was stabbed with his own weapon, defeated, and left for dead by his former friend.
The Shadows
Madara survived though the only thing keeping him alive was his chakra, for the time being there was nothing he could do against Konoha. He traveled away from Konoha and created Kirigakure. He placed a figure head as a pretend Mizukage while he hid in the shadows to avoid attention from Konoha as was the true Mizukage, only the most elite ninjas of village know of his true identity. For years he mimicked Konoha?s government, appointing a new ?Mizukage?, but his practices were of Uchiha mentality such as the rules in the ninja academy. Madara believes a ninja should lose his heart and be filled with hatred in order to get stronger. Over the years he remained in the shadows as Kirigakure?s true leader.
The Akatsuki
Madara?s true goal with Kirigakure was to wage a war against Konoha eventually destroying the Uchiha and the Senju Clan. But he lost faith in his creation; his village wasn?t powerful enough to defeat a powerhouse like Konoha. So Madara secretly devised a plan with a missing nin he sought out based on his spying skills, named Zetsu. They plan on creating an organization with powerful missing nins who can capture the Bijuus. Madara wants to control them like The First Hokage did and stand at the top of the Ninja World like his former friend. Later on the two discovered a Rinnegan user in Amegakure, named Nagato Madara wanted him on his side and obsevered him. Nagato and Konan witnessed the death of their friend Yahiko in one of Amegakure?s many wars, this was a perfect opportunity for Madara to manipulate the two orphans. Madara turned Jiraiya into a villain, and make them hate the ninja world in their minds. Nagato and Konan decided to follow Madara it was the only way to ?peace?, Nagato turned into Pein later on. Madara knew if he wanted the members obedient then his Sharingan just wasn?t enough, these criminals would rather have faith in a ninja with a legendary dojutsu, the Rinnegan. So Pein was placed as the figure head, while Madara once again hides in the shadows behind another organization.
The Summon
Madara Uchiha was the leader of Kirigakure and the Akatsuki, Pein and Zetsu was recruiting members on Madara?s behalf and Madara formed an elite ninja squad in Kirigakure called the Seven Swordsman of the Mist. Madara feeling confident took his shot at Konoha once again, he summoned the Kyuubi as a way to draw attention to the Uchiha Clan and not himself, but due to the strain of the summon he went blind in his left eye and ended up losing control of the Kyuubi and so Madara fled the scene while the Kyuubi was hell bent on destroying the one who summoned him. The Kyuubi set his sights on Konoha and was confronted by the Fourth Hokage, the Fourth sacrificed his life in order to seal the Kyuubi Yin to him and the Kyuubi's Yang into Naruto. Madara was in the shadows and witnessed this. He had crippled his Mangekyo abilities, once again Madara fled Konoha defeated and ashamed.
The Massacre
Madara heard of the conflicts of Konoha and the Uchiha Clan thanks to his summoning and he discovered that Itachi Uchiha was chosen to spy on the clan. Itachi figured out that Madara was alive and asked for his help. Assassinating the clan in return Madara wouldn?t touch Konoha. Madara saw in Itachi someone who can someday control the Kyuubi and make up for his shortcomings, Madara placed Itachi in Akatsuki as a safe haven for Itachi. So one night Itachi and Madara killed off the clan, leaving only one alive, Sasuke Uchiha.
The Disintegration
Back in Kirigakure, the ones who know of Madara?s existence including the Seven Swordsmen of the Mist was angry because they knew he was involved in the Uchiha Clan Massacre. They felt Madara was putting the village in danger by trying to start a war. But within there was conflict within the Seven Swordsman, some were on Madara?s side. Zabuza Momochi was one of the ninja?s against Madara, and decided to assassinate him but the ones who were supporting Madara defended Madara. After the failed attempt Zabuza fled and soon after the Seven Swordsmen went they?re separate ways and became missing nins. Madara saw it best to leave Kirigakure to avoid attention going so far as to cut his hair. Madara made sure that Akatsuki obtain one of the strongest member and one of his supporters, Kisame Hoshigaki, but never revealed himself as Akatsuki?s true leader.
The Compensation
In Akatsuki tension has fueled between Madara and Itachi, Itachi thinks Madara is the root of all the things that led up to The Uchiha Massaacre. So Madara sayed away from Itachi and let Itachi focus on the Kyuubi. Madara?s heir and compensation to his Kyuubi summoning was lost he knew Itachi was just keeping an eye on Akatsuki, but he knows of another Uchiha, Sasuke. Madara knew that Sasuke, unlike Itachi is filled with hatred and that his Sharingan would surpass Itachi?s based on Sasuke?s feelings and determination. So Madara decided to observe Sasuke because Sasuke will replace Itachi as his ?heir? and help him deal with the Kyuubi.
The Betrayal
Years later Itachi took on Sasuke, a fight to the death but Itachi had his death planned all along Itachi died of sickness and Sasuke was kidnapped by Madara. Madara told Sasuke he wasn?t apart of the summoning of the Kyuubi and pitted Sasuke against the elders of Konoha. Madara thought he had Sasuke in the palm of his hands something he couldn?t do with Itachi but Sasuke has his own plans for Madara and Akatsuki and is using them, thus Madara failed at manipulating Sasuke like he did with Nagato and Konan and his compensation of power is lost.
