konan almost killed madara and kakuzu was defeated by naruto b4 he even mastered sage mode. not close in my book. konan wipes the floor wit him.

konan nearly defeated Tobi (Tobi wins due to Izanagi chapter 510 I believe)
kakuzu was deafeated by naruto... no Sage Mode..

therefor: Konan is stronger than Kakuzu

she did it lik in a month, which is shocking. Konan cant beat anyone over the age of 70, think abt it saru, onoki, madara,hashirama, muu, 2nd mizukage, she's just a child

what makes me believe that it took her over a year was the fact that she had been actively observing madara and his abilities over the course of akatsuki and it was then that she and pain had already started making preparations in case they had to fight him.

Kakuzu. b/c Konan only almost beat Madara b/c she was prepared. Kakuzu would over whelm her. Water jutsu's makes her not paperize right. And fire jutsu's would destroy her.
