that doesnt count there were times in the battle where he was just standing there, like wen Saru put explosive tags all over his feet. He defeated Uchiha Madara, the greatest Uchiha of his time

Yes edo's are not as smart as their real counterparts, but in overall battle strength they are not that much weaker. If hashirama is as powerful without bijuu as he is hyped up to be, he alone would have easily killed old sarutobi without orochimaru's, or his brother's help, yet old sarutobi was able to fight all three of them at the same time.

And this is edo nagato and itachi, so they don't have chakra drain and have perfect bodies, an advantage especially for itachi.

with that kind of logic, there is no manga/anime character that has been created or will ever be created that will be able to beat itachi, because no matter what their powers/abilities are, itachi is a genius and will come up with a plan.

Seriously, Itachi is arguably the most skilled weapon user in the manga. All he needs to do is blind the bijuu (1-7) with his kunai and Amaterasu them. Hey, it worked against Nagato's summons, and Sasuke did something similar to the hachibi. Then like Madara did with the kyuubi, or even Sasuke with Manda, he can control the hachibi + kyuubi or just one of them it doesn't matter.

Nagato + Itachi + kyuubi/hachibi > Hashirama
