This is a bit of a nostalgic post as some things lately have made me look back on my childhood, and how much has changed, it makes me think that I feel a bit old, on the verge of adulthood, and it feels wierd. Some of the younger members may not get all of this, but you know, they will probably get some.
Do you remember:
when cd players consisted of a huge circular player and blocky headphones?
when the main game systems were nintendo 64 and the playstation?
Call of Duty 1? xd
you were able to get both recess and nap time
where you were when the twin towers fell?
what you were doing when katrina happened?
president bush? lol
the original power rangers, the black one was legit
heelies? Do they even still make them anymore?
arts and crafts?
sending love notes to that special someone?
Ugh, I really miss this one, does anyone remember on St. Patricks Day when you could make a box to catch the leprechaun? And the teacher would have us leave the room, and when we came back, there was glitter and green and white strips of paper EVERYWHERE!?
a time with no drama? not sure I do
and last but not least, rugrats, the original version
Yeah, that's kinda nostalgic for me, what good times out on the playground and not having to worry about flunking a class or anything stressful at all :/
