if u rely r open minded and wanna twist try Jethro Tull-some of their biggest hits r Aqualung, Locomotive Breath, Thick as a Brick and Bungle in the Jungle its most of their is from the 70s-one of the most underrated rock bands of all time. They r a prog. rock band that plays a mix of classical music, jus regular rock, metal and acoustic. The lead singer Ian Anderson plays a flute and wen they won the 1st Metal Grammy over Metallica (even tho they r not really metal/didn't even show up) they responded "The Flute is a Metal Instrument!!!"
If you like Evanescence, maybe try Nightwish (Finnish Melodic Metal) but everything before the 'Once' album is good, the songs with the old singer (Tarja Turunen). The new singer is no good at all.
Also a must in this section is Sonata Arctica (Finnish Melodic Power Metal).
If you like rock/rap cross section, try Rip-Hop, my best recomendation is Cypress Hill.. Check out songs like Amplified, Catastrophe, Get out of my head.
Go oldschool with Rage Against The Machine, songs: Renegades of funk, Killing in the name of, How I could just kill a man)
Also maybe you like Korn and System Of A Down.
