Thats true but Orochimaru has no fire type jutsu that we know of so that wouldnt be a factor.

Sasuke himself stated that the only reason he won was because orochimaru was on his deathbed. he said this right after the deidara fight when karin said i cant believe some1 like u killed orochimaru! anyways u guys realize it was all part of orochiamrus plans right? i mean if it wasnt for itachi u realzie orochimaru would have taken over sasukes body right? i consider orochimaru the victor of the 2. because it was evident he was about to win if itachi didnt meddle in lol.

It is a factor, because Sasuke needed the help of Amaterasu's heat , heat he can't obtain with Orochimaru, therefore he would lack the chakra to use Kirin and the preparations

The winner would of probably been Oro if he was at full health but it surely wouldn't be easy. Sasuke has Oro's weakness the sharingan, combined with many other amazing jutsu. Orochimaru wud of still won becuz of his sword combined with summoning Manda and etc wud probably be too much for Sasuke. Sasuke needs prep time for Kirin and if it even works then Oro wud just regenerate like Sasuke did when he got hit by amatarasu. So yes Orochimaru wud of won and Sasuke did not wanna take any chances so he waited till Oro was weak. Orochimaru with edo though wud of won pretty easily.

also sasuke has genjutsu, if itachi can cripple orochimaru with a simple genjutsu, not even tsukuyomi then im sure sasuke can

orochimaru sucks, in fact all the sanin suck, from what i can see all the previous kages from different villages were very powerful and no sannin would stand a chance against them.

uhh no, Kirin needs the heat from amaterasu, they would have fought in an underground chamber, kirin is void. Sasuke himself stated that he could only beat Oro because he was sick. The sanin aren't weak either; Orochimaru killed the 4th kazekage with seemingly ease and was one of the strongest akatsuki, and fought a tailed beast, and Pain admits Jiraiya could have beat him if he had more intel.
