As the title says..


I've been searching around on google..and found something interesting.
All avatars, sigs, banners, RL pictures of our members etc. that are posted on NB..are automatically stored on google and shown to the world.

If you wish to try this yourself go to.

type your username [or any other]
and most of the pictures you created/ used/ posted will be displayed, which means, it is left open to billions of people across the world to download whatever you create on Photoshop..Gimp etc.are available for other people to download and use on

-Other forums
-Facebook
-etc. etc.

without the original creators not even knowing..even drawings that are created..

And finally..the pictures posted in the Show Yourself thread..your identity..exposed not only to NB..but to the world..

I know.

It's not a big deal at all, but is interesting.


The whole Internet is that way. Yahoo, and other image sources does the same. Google is just the main thing for it.

Na your name was unique it does not bring up anything for me...
not with my first username nor my second and not my current..

BTW to enlighten u the entire internet is stored on the google servers.

thats why it isn't a big deal..
but lots of identity thefts out there..that's really my main point..even the personal pictures stored on your profile album..

It works great for people if you type in your real name.


Holy Hell! I never tried my old username.


If you type in AzulaFan, my old username on here, it shows up two picks of Jack Spicer/Wuya, Naruto stuff, and a render someone made for me.

Awesome. It shows everything related to you.


When you type my real name in, it shows FB stuff, Avatar TLA stuff, Soul Eater, Naruto, etc...

It's because profile pics, village bars below your name, affiliation and ranks bars, mood icon bars ect... are all uploaded on the narutobase.net server and thus, the results are shown on Google.

And avys are also shown becuase once you upload them, it is indefinitely stored on the img.tokyobase.net server even if you change your avy later on. Thus, there'll always be a copy of your avy.

It's nothing exceptional. If you were registered on another forum or site and you uploaded a pic as your avy; given that it also has a storage image server, the results will also be shown.

It doesn't work always for sigs since sigs are uploaded from different sites or Imageservers.

I don't think any picture from a member's album will be shown though.
