maybe minato,hashirama,or 3rd raikage. But then again i dont see how they will beat him. Nagato could shinra tensei minato and absorb his rasengans, 3rd raikage chakra wont do any good. He could probably absorb wood element too.

Only guys who have a chance of winning is the first hokage with his tailed beasts, or minato. Sarutobi in his prime is a possibility, but a big maybe at best.
You guys who are saying the first Hokage remember that wood element gets absorb by preta path and you cant have them both using tailed beast because they both control the powers of the tailed beast so they cancel each other out ( Nagato with gedo mezo and first hokage with his tailed beast)
Nagato is a beast, I think only like 2 kages can beat him. Minato and 3rd raikage. (Maybe some other). Other than them, i think you should have atleast some type of sealing technique when fighting Nagato, cuz physical attacks isn't too effective, unless your as strong as raikage cuz he has that lightneing pericering technique, with his 2 fingers.

There's a difference between sealing the bijuu and controlling the bijuu. The bijuu are only sealed in gedo mazo, and the process even with 10 powerful akatsuki members has been shown to take days. The wood element can actually control the bijuu, therefore the bijuu would only be of benefit to hashirama if they are in the fight, not nagato.
You dont understand me man what I was saying is that if you have first hokage and Nagato fighting then you can not include the bijuu in the discussions because how can you have two of the same bijuu facing each other since currently 1-7 bijuus are currently sealed in the gedo mezo and hashirama tamed all of the bijuus. You see you can not have 1 tail vs 1tail because they both are the same, so all topics of hashirama vs Nagato should stop including the bijuus in the discussion. Now if they faced each other one on one then preta path will take care of hashirama wood realese.
Nope, no Kage could beat Nagato(without prior knowledge to his 6 Paths of Peins). Only ninja that can beat Nagato are Rikoudo Sennin and Madara/Tobi.
Minato/Hiruzen(in his prime) are the only 2 kages that could come close to beating Nagato.
