what is madara's weapon that weird ax thing? does anyone know what it does?

It's a fan.....that is a symbol for him being a uchiha since the word uchiha means fan

its a fan probably for wind techs also its symbolic because uchiha comes from the word uchiwa which means fan....

i firmly believe its is to amplify the power of his fire jutsu since when itachi (or someone) was explaining why the uchiha symbol was a fan, they said its because the fan gives power to the uchiha's fire (or something like that) seeing as kishi likes symbolism, this isnt farfetched
so if u've ever played pokemon, its like giving them an item that increases the power of their attack
it also has a chain for attacking with a scythe like the one on hidan's weapon (ill find the link in a bit)

yep madara used against this 1st hokage since it can be used with Wind Release to increase the strength of a fire technique and even overcome its superior element of water. which the 1st had....
