Well,first of all I want you tell me what the summoning technique is?
What are summoning animals?
What are the ways of summoning?
Summoning users and animals from the manga?

The summoning jutsu is a technique that allows you to transport things or living creatures from a long distance, using thei're own blood as a payment. And too summon an animal, the user must first have written a contract with the animal. The seals for the summon are: Boar → Dog → Bird → Monkey → Ram
One way to summon either a weapon or an animal, is biting your finger and making it bleed, then perform the handseals required before you summon the animal in front of you. You don't have to summon the animal on the ground, it can be summoned in mid-air. Another way to summon weapons or animals, is carriyng a scroll with you. The scroll only needs your blood, not the handseals. And by using the scrolls, you don't have to have a contract with the animal.
Animal summons are either large, or small animals, that has made a contract with a human and fight for the human when the human needs it to.
A few excamples from the manga:

Something about gulls? Well I know that gulls are birds. Thei're white, with a yellow beeck. They like to shit everywhere, not that much of fly birds, but they can see very well trough water, that way they can catch fish. Gulls eat practicly anything.

Good enough for me.Now the Gulls are a very noble species and quite royal.You will need to treat them with respect or they won't let you summon them.Firstly we will go to their Kingdom and hope they don't kill us both.Next we ask for an audince to the Queen,because the King is away,hunting.And for God's sake if you want to keep your manhood (yes they will take away your manhood if you don't behave xd) do not say anything like "they shit everywhere" xd.Oh and when we get to the queen,be extremely careful.She's very temperamental and will try to kill you if you don't show her the respect she wants.
Anyways time to sign the contract.
-I unzip my coat and take out a small scroll from the inner pockets.I preform a hand seal and a cloud of smoke appears around the scroll.The scroll is now much bigger so I throw it to the ground unrolling it.I take your hand with my left one and take out a kunai with my right one.I stab your palm to let the blood come out.-

Good.That should do it for today.Tommorow you will get your tattoo and learn your first summon.Along the way I will teach you the tradition and culture of the Gulls.Also you will make your personal summon on the way.
-I get off the road and lay down two matresses.I lay down on one matress.-

-I pull away the shirt off your right shoulder while pushing chakra in my finger tip.I then slowly push the finger in your skin and release the chakra burning your skin slightly.An hour passes while I make the tattoo and once I am done I remove the finger and stop the chakra flow.-

You can use this tattoo to summon the Gulls instead of doing all the hand seals.Simply wipe blood on the tattoo and the gulls will be summoned.
And now time to preform your first summoning.Firstly bite your finger to let a little blood come out.After that preform the following hand seals: Boar → Dog → Bird → Monkey → Ram or Ram while at the same time you focus chakra.As you do all of that imagine a normal sized gull.A gull from the Gull nursery in their castle will be summoned and will be chosen as your personal summon which only you and me may use or anyone else you give permission to (anyone that has signed the contract).After that we will go to The Cliffs,the kingdom of the Gulls.

As my hand hits the ground I hear a *poff* and white smoke appears. When the smoke fades away, I see a small gull sitting on the ground. I look at him, and I say *
HIS NAME SHALL BE; JONATHAN SEAGULL!

I'm fine with the name xd.You can decide his powers and all.But he can't be over A rank.I think he might grow up to the size of Sasuke's hawk.
