[Theory] Becoming the new Sage of Six Paths

As madara has said about nagato being the 3rd of six paths i think he means his rinnegan is one part to becoming the sage of six paths.
I think madara wants to become the new sage of six paths and to become this you need to have the following.

1st path - Uchiha
2nd path - Senju
3rd path - Rinnegan
4th path - Becoming a Sage(like naruto or jiraiya)
5th path - Jinchuuriki
6th path - The sages staff thing

and if you are a jinchuuriki and become a sage you will get that necklace thing that naruto and the SO6P has.

That is what i believe madara really wants

For the sage one do you mean Sage mode?If it is,then it's impossible. Madara needs a contract with the toads,which I highly doubt he has.

I don't think that being a Sage is one of the 6 paths because Sage Mode is just temporary and, as it's name suggests, it's a mode or more like a replica of the real thing

and even if Madara was to steal the scroll nobody would teach him how to enter in Sage Mode

Well as it's name suggests the SO6P has something to do with a sage of some sort

You know when you see pictures of the SO6P and he has that weird looking staff thing, that's what I meant

not everything has a hidden meaning
he already had wisdom and his path was only one - peace.

sage - One venerated for experience, judgment, and wisdom.

and the staff might be of use, but it's definitely not a path
if it was, I'm sure Madara would have already got his hands on it anyway

i disagree with the senju and uchiha bit because they came from him and wernt alive etc so he wouldnt have needed them.I think you might be on to something with the sage mode but instead of sage mode its the younger sons body which he probably had sage mode so

dont know about 1 and 2 and madara apparently has three of the paths so maybe your right about senju and uchiha but how can that make sense?

Nagato(or his rinnegan) was not the "3rd Path", as you can see in that link. He was, according to Madara, the 3rd Rikudou Sennin(SO6P) and not "a Path".

So, in other words:
1st SO6P - the legendary Sage of the Six Paths
2nd SO6P - Unknown (maybe the elder son or Madara)
3rd SO6P - Nagato

These are the real Six Paths:
Animal Path
Asura Path
Deva Path
Human Path
Naraka Path
Preta Path

I see what you/Kishi mean. His abilities of having both the Seju and Uchiha blood within him, and now with the Rinnegan; brings him closer to the power of the Sage. Nagato might have the Rinnegan which is a creation or rebirth of the Sage himself but its nothing compare to what the Sage himself carried; which is, I think was shown through the eyes of the Juubi.
