The first thing he always do is make sure he has kunai to teleport too. And IF He didn't have any kunai(which is retardly impossible) he always has one at home
he'll just teleport there and have some ramen

Um that bolded part isn't true at all. If you go reread the manga chapter before right before he starts to fight Guy, one of the Nara clan members does the Shadow bind technique on Kisame and Kisame just drains his chakra through it.
And Kisame wasn't even holding Samehada at that time so apparently he has some sort of chakra stealing ability as well.
So yeah Shikamaru loses every time against Kisame, he literally can do nothing to him.
On thread Well my favorite characters are Minato and Itachi but I know both of them will win so I will go to someone who Shikamaru has a chance against.
I guess I will say Neji, he probably could beat Neji. For me this thread is kind of pointless because all my fave characters are super strong like Minato and Itachi and Jiraiya and Naruto.

Here is where Kisame drains chakra and he doesn't even have samehada with him.
This is why Kisame is so powerful. Without hsi chakra stealing abilities he would still be pretty damn strong but this just bumps him up to nigh unstoppable status. Guy was lucky that Kisame didn't have Samehada with him.

Guy is physically stronger than him but that is it. Kisame has more variety and more chakra. Also had he known that Afternoon Tiger wasn't a ninjutsu then he would have dodged it, he had ample time but thought his shark missile would absorb it.
Guy is sort of good but he is too one sided and has no real skill sets to speak of other than his taijutsu. Against characters with any depth he just can't win.

when kimimaro fought against garra he was already weak (i think he was really weak becuz he was already half way dead) so if he were to fight full strengh against shikamaru. SHIKAMARU WOULD DIE!!!

Kakazu, smarter and stronger then Hidan who shikimaru needed a elaborate plan to beat. Plus he does not mess around.
