He always wears traditional Japanese wooden sandals and a bucket hat, which has earned him the nickname "sandal-hat". He also wears a dark green shirt and pants, topped with a black coat with a white diamond pattern along its bottom half. Urahara has also been known to carry a fan which he uses to occasionally hide his face.
Personality: Although he is usually seen as a laid-back, jovial fellow, Urahara also shows a deceptively cunning and serious side when the situation warrants it. He commonly uses idle conversation and outward concern as an act of distracting his opponents. Despite his care-free attitude, he always speaks politely, but is sometimes sarcastic. He tends to go over the top with whatever he becomes passionate about. He once described himself as a "mere honest, handsome, perverted businessman."

History :
Kisuke was born in Konohagakure and he live his both of his parent plus one aunt, being born in a Aburame Clan, Kisuke body contains bug at a very young age and gotten used to it and treat them as once, his father also forbidden Kisuke to learn ninjutsu or related stuff to in as he always said '' there will be always a risk in a battle , one moment you may lose your limb, another moment may be goodbye for you '' therefore his father is very strict on him even though Kisuke master every single Aburame Clan clan technique due to the fact him begin like a genius(o.o) and his father said it was for self defense not for gaining fame or more power, As day goes by Kisuke began to got interest in ninjutsu as he often seek out to watch people spar or even order his bugs to gather information so as days goes by, Kisuke pest his father every single day until one day his father allowed him to learn in one condition which is to beat his dad in a simple bug spar, after the spar the result was unexpected as Kisuke won the battle by not using brutal strength yet used only speed / brain and his bug, his father was proud and sent him into the Ninja Academy for further knowledge.
At the age of 7, Kisuke graduated from the Ninja Academy at the top of his class after only one year & also passed the Chunin Exams at age 10. And as another one fine morning ,Kisuke went around the town as he got nothing to do and too lazy to do mission after walking for some time he suddenly saw a big crowd and he quickly went to find out what happen and without knowing he saw a tall sitting down with a big table in front of him and that man was known as the Sage of Earth and creator of Lava element '' BishamonSama '' and another shocking news was he found out that this great ninja is taking in 3 student into his team and will teach them anything that he know and will groom them into a great ninja so he decided to apply the application for his team and hoping he was able to be accepted and after a week, the result was out on the notice board and Kisuke saw his name on the first place in the list and he was so happy that he got accepted but he continue looking down to see who see team mate was and saw two unknown name '' Jet and Ryuji '' and as the following day they had a meeting and as well as getting to know each other as we will be in a team in the future. So one day BishamonSama came to tell us that he's bring us back to his village '' Iwagakure '' and asked us to follow him if we are willing too, and without considering Kisuke quickly agrees and quickly went back home and told his parent that he is leaving for a special - long - travel - mission while Jet & BishamonSama waited him at the main gate, after waiting for a while Kisuke quickly rush and meet them at the main gate and as they are about to leave, Ryuji decided to stay behind as he doesn't wish to leave the village so BishamonSama agreed and allow Ryuji to stay and took 2 of us back to '' Iwagakure '' and Jet & Kisuke became an Iwagakure Shinobi and lived there.
After living in Iwagakure for 5 year, Kisuke was age of 15 and learned multiple different element from different sensei and one of them is BishamonSama though Kisuke haven completed them. So shortly after few week a war broke out against all 5 country but without completing his training, Kisuke was in a disadvantage line if he fought anyone in this war so BishamonSama decided that only few selected people will fight in the war and the rest shall stay, After a super long fighting the war finally end and even though Iwagakure lost, the ninja of Iwagakure didn't gave up hope and continue improving themselves and shortly after the war ends, BishamonSama the great Iwagakure kage decided to take a break and pass down the Kage position to a great ninja name '' Kaze '' and BishamonSama went off for his break, Kaze continues to lead Iwagakure for years and as days passes by Kisuke was already age 20 but still another unfortunate thing came up which is Kage Kaze have some stuff came up and needed to pass down his Kage position again and finally decided to pass the Kage position to '' Toku '' and everyone calls him '' Tokukage '' and as live goes on, Kisuke finally completed all of his training because he met a sensei name known as '' Kagutsuchi(Ali) and Ali decided to make Kisuke as his sempai so Kisuke took up the job and train many new ninja even though he isn't that good but he tries many way to allow the newly ninja to understand. Kisuke have been also lookig for all possible way to improve himself and along the way he also met some good friend around and enjoy chatting with them, They're known as Akihiko , Jinbei , Ryuji ,BloodLust Loki , Nagato.. , Toku , Zero and all other member in Iwagakure.
P.S; sorry for the bad story xd, just writing down all thing that happen on me for the my time in NB so forgive me ^_^

He also carries his favorite cane sword whenever he goes(on his waist), this cane sword is specially crafted out and it is also capable of infusing with chakra or element chakra if the user wish to.
