madara is weaker than minato cause madara was obviously scared of minato. thats why he used the kyuubi.

Uhh, last time I checked, Dimensions and whatnot go under the category of space and time, more space than time, mind you.

His s/t is more advanced than minatos so madara outranks him in speed.
Since speed was one minatos most valuable attributes, and now that madara surpasses him in that he is probably stronger than him.
That doesnt prove anything. There could be a thousand different reasons why he did that. I mean if you have something like the Kyuubi, why go attack yourself when you can send it to do the job for you. Its a lot easier. Its like why walk when you can drive. ^^

Actually when itachi tortures kakashi he says "in the world of tsukyomi, i control space and time"
so actually, yes, mangekyou does make space/time jutsus.
you cant bend space without bending time, and vice versa, thats pretty much what einstein figured out with special relativity i thought?

Yea, space and time can't be altered separately, if you alter one, your basically altering the other one as well. How this works in the Naruto universe could be totally different, you never know, but yes, MS does in fact have many space/time jutsu's.
Kakashi has space/time jutsu's, Itachi has a space/time jutsu's, and Sasuke may or may not have space/time jutsu's, his Amaterasu-putter-outer-thingy may in fact may be a time reversal jutsu.
Karin was basically melted, but when he used his jutsu on her, she was suddenly back to her original state.

so i was wondering about the whole space/time deal... well, specifically the space part... would the jutsus J-man used be considered space/time. i mean, he hid himself in a pretty average sized frog so wouldn't that be space manipulation?

sasuke escaped deidara with a space/time jutsu
despite being out of chakra....Thing is he hasnt been seen using that skill ever again...wonder if tobi/madara used space/time on sasuke and genjutsu sasuke into thinking he did it himself???
...Actually that is making sense.....this is why tobi suddenly appeared in akatsuki as an underling, he needed to be deidaras partner as he knew deidaras final move and that sasuke had no space/time to avoid it, so tobi had to go undercover and be there as an idiot while sasuke and deidara fought.
Even better is tobi/madara can get a look on how sasuke fights, has developed and many of his jutsus.
for example a pinch in space, say a black hole or worm hole, the closer you get the more bent time is, if i were to stand next to a blackhole for 5 minutes, it would not be 5 minutes for someone millions of miles away, or even 1 metre away.
however it must work differently in naruto as kakashi opens up black holes and no such time query happens.
It appears space and time are seperate in naruto universe, or kishi and co simply dont want to use stupid amounts of physics, lets face it everything we have seen is completely unrealistic, people jumping at 50mph through trees, teleportation, water dragons and such like.
Itd be a bit silly to then bitch about the unrealistic physics of space time jutsus LOL.

Lol, yea, I suppose your right, but Sasuke never used a space/time jutsu, he simply used a summoning scroll to summon Manda when the blast hit.
Sasuke used Manda as a human [Snake?] shield of sorts to save himself, killing Manda in the process.
Madara's space-time jutsu right now is superior to the 4th's; however, we don't know if he had developed it during the 4th's lifespan.
It may already be said, but I completely agree with others that space-time jutsu include summoning jutsu and MS. Having a contract with the toads or needing to form hand signs shouldn't disqualify it. The jutsu allows the user to summon or be summoned. Either way someone is being instantly brought from one point (linear simplification) in space-time to another. Nice ideas

Yea, I suppose, but it's not as practical as the 4th's or Madara's jutsu, seeing as you have to bite yourself in order to draw blood for the summoning, which is basically a dead give-a-way that your about to go somewhere.
he wasnt scared of just minato... if he went and killed the 4th hokage then every friggin shinobi in konoha would have been all up in his face... also he didnt have a fight with the 4th they didnt disagree on anything that we know of. madara wanted revenge on koknoha because they "betrayed" him and he couldnt take an entire village on his own so he summoned and controled the kuybii to do the job for him.
PS- how do i ope a new thread i know what "That Jutsu" is
