Still posses great mastery of water and earth element. Founder of konoha along side madara
Minato namikaze the fastest ninja so far in the world of naruto creator of ftg tech uses a space time ninjustu able to battle the kyubi alone was said to be fight a war alone, certainly use some element, was chosen over orochimaro tusade and jiraya to become hokage. Was said to be a genius of a decade by jiraya and raikage also from an elite clan senju. I beleive there are more to both of them that have been reveled so who do you think is stronger

mINATO WASNT choosen over them orochimaru was supposed to be the hokage but due to his lack of kindness and want of power he was skipped so he took a grdge against konaha and then jiraiya was also considered but couldnt because he was stil travelling or embarking on those his prevy trips
thats when minato was choosen a talented jounin

Gonna side with Hashirama here. We've never really seen his abilities but he's been hyped up tremendously. That being said both Minato and Hashirama have beaten Tobi/Madara provided they're the same person. Although when Minato fought, Madara would've been in his weakened state from his fight with Hashirama. I'll stick with Hashirama.

well i think if minato grew up a little into his prime then he would win but as we have seen their abilitys so far the first hokage would win with great difficulty. i think minato would put up ALMOST as good of a fight as madara though

YES FINALLY SOMEONES UNDERSTAND WHY MINATO WAS CHOOSEN TO BEGIN WITH. NO ONE EVER mentions this.


First they wanted orochimaru(fav student) but he was retarded for obivious reasons.

then he wanted jiraiya but didnt want to do due his oblations to his goals which affect the story still.(And he turned it down again and gave the job to tusande.)

then they gave the rank to minato jiraiya's student.

I dont even think naruto wants to be hokage deep down now. He just wanted to be a hero from I gather.
