Something that really anoyed me about bleach anime/manga

I love bleach, but something really got on my nerves, which was that kubo made ichigo way overpowered.. I mean, how can a human who is a substitute soul reaper, and barely got his soul reping powers by not the strongest soul reapear in soul society(riuka) go to the soul society to rescue riuka, and kick the ass of two soul reaper captains like kenpaichi, and kuski9lol, sorry, i mean rukias brother), two bad ass captains that have been soul reapers for hundreds of years.. That really got on my nerves

Yes, it was very lame... A human who barely got his powers from riuka beat captains soul reapers who where soul reapers for hundres of years, and bad asses like Byakuya and Kenpaichi.. I found that ridicolous

As stated by Aizen, Ichigo was special because he was half human and shinigami. Ichigo ALWAYS had a huge amount of reiatsu hence why Rukia could not sense the hollow in the first few chapters. The insertion of Rukia's reiatsu triggered a chain reaction, as it caused Ichigo's shinigami powers to awaken. Rukia did NOT give 'her' power to Ichigo.

The release of Ichigo's shikai caused his reiatsu to grow. As Ichigo started to trust in Zangetsu he gained an even higher reiatsu. Thus the ability to match Kenpachi. Through gaining Bankai he could match Byakuya.

Byakuya trained for hundreds of years, but that was to only gain shikai and bankai. No real improvement. Ichigo gained his shikai and bankai but his training was more intense as it was packed into three days.

I agree with the author of the thread here. It happened again when he fought aizen as well. It was seriously a three minute fight after a loooooooooooong arc. And i'm also annoyed he basically wiped the floor with kenpachi and byakuya.

Well we found out about his dad so it's not like he "never" had any power and did all this stuff.....But I like how Bleach handle him being somewhat overpowered.....He loses his powers and really in the Manga we see that he doesn't get them back for QUITE a while.....I actually like Bleach's storyline and not to mention the fillers aren't terrible.....Bu I do enjoy the development of the story

Yeah, I know right? And Mercy you have no right to tell me to do research before I post, I have a question for you and the people that think ichigos overpowerness is justified as he is the star of the show.. Ever heard of dragonball z..? Goku and the z fighters where the star of the show, but how much training did they have to put to overcome the bad guy...? A LOT, even years in some cases, and after a loong intense training if they finally defeated the bad guy it was justified, and it gave me the viewers or me at least the satisfaction of all the hard work and intense training they went through that it paid off, the reward, is that they finally beat the bad guy.. Unlike ichigo who had no to scarce training, just goes to the soul society and beats two bad ass captains who have been soul reapers for hundreds of years...

Have to say i agree with you all the way .... i think ichigos charecter is a strong one ... but he simply gets OP in very short periods of time ... Fine i can barely digest that he beat byakyuya due to his bankai ... but kenpachi ... comeon ... let ichigo build all the relationship he wants to with his zampakto ... still i mean kenpachi beat no.5 without even a shikai ... something ichigo was not able to do even with complete mask .... when he beat kenpachi all ichigo had was his shikai ... i think that was not well planned by the creator ... plus another problem i have is with urahara ... i mean he keeps sendin ichigo everywhere without even preparin him for what is in store ... if this was a real life situation ichigo would be dead ages ago ... And i hate the head captain ... he preaches righteousnes ... but is always the last to intervene ( in most cases ) doesnt have a mind of his own ... and in my personal opinion makes a very weak leader inspite of being a strong shinigami ... would love to hear any rebuttal but with reasoning plz . .... by the way im a huge fan of death note aswell

Lol.. Yeah thats right.. I mean I get that he is the star of the show, but a great example is DragonBall z.. Whe saw the protagonist like goku put extremley hard training to overcome his oponnents, sometimes even years of training.. Which I would have love for Ichigo to have done.. Not just train about 3 days and go to the soul society and kick kenpaichi and byakuyas ass...
