Over the series, these characters started to believe in themselves because others gave them the confidence to do it. i always scratched my head and wonder who would win this fight? for me i would say a draw because i like both characters evenly. but to see what they did on the battle field was awesome! who would you want to win this battle?

Naruto in SM could have done all of that even faster. And when did Choji fight TB? Fact is, Naruto is much faster and one FTS would be enough to beat choji.
Choji only fights with strength.

1. With the help of Ino and Shikamaru.
2. With the help of Ino, Shikamaru, Darui, and the lady who sent the pot.
3. He didn't beat Kakuza single handedly, people were already fighting him. Choji just restrained him.
4. He fought them with no success whatsoever.

1- the jin brothers were stopped before he transformed

2-since he was an edo tensei kakuzu wasn't killed, he was just restrained. he also had help from the others.

3-the gedo mazo wasn't utilizing the tailed beasts power at the time of their fight; he never defeated it, madara just left.
