There a # of ninjas whos growth was tremendous. for ex. nara shikamaru, was seen as the guy who was lazy and unmotivated. but he was the only one that made chunnin. who do you think has the greatest growth?

Naruto obviously... he's the perfect example of the saying: "From Zero to Hero". But I believe the question should be: Who's growth was stunned!? And I would think Neji... big time!

Read the manga! he can do all sorts of ninjustu! he is the first person i seen break out of water prison on his own. apart from being a branch member, he can use justu hinata was taught!. hes a beast

He same beast as he was a kid he didnt improve much...and we just dont see him fight anymore...he was a genius when he was a genin

I hate to admit this but I have to give props to Sakura for showing unexpected growth. I understand that several of her flaws are annoying (blame Kishi for that) but she went from being almost useless to being useful. No one expected for her to contribute much at the start of part 2. But she sure showed us when she became like 3rd best Medical nin there is I think. No to mention her fighting capabilities are way f***ing better than what she displayed in part 1. I know she kinda lost her glow after her battle with Sasori but she will recover someday.

sakura of course the only jutsu she could do before shippuden is shadow clone justu but now superman strength and healing jutsu and don't forget the way she cured kankuro

Gotta be Naruto.But I must say Hinata made a whole load of progress however.

Sasuke´s my favorite but he was a genius to begin with so no count there I suppose although he gained quite a lot of strength.
