Senpai's teaching nin and tai.

Well I'm with yard, but I get the whole take the test thing. But I have asked every sensai for nin/gen training (more then once) only to get the same answer (no)....Dan was one of them ("I don't like teaching that" was his last way of saying no). So sempais teaching at least nin should (imo) be done. Because I for one have never got any training from a sensai, due to this I have no nin/gen/tai training. So if sempais could teach them or some of them then me and others would be more evolved RPGers

Exactly, i don't like training it, because it's so simple and boring and i've got alot of other students :|

And sensei would have more time for training other things, if people weren't so selfish and didn't want to be trained like 5 things at once.

I can teach tai and elements. At one point, Rei gave me permish to teach basic nin when the new sempai system came out, doubt it still applies nor would I teach it. It's too boring. >_>

a lot of points raised on this thread are valid, though I agree with Dan, there is a reason the sensei tests are in place, and that is to ensure that only rpers who know the techniques and can use them in battle to a high enough standard can become one. With the senpai system, there is merely the trust of the sensei you work under that you are good enough, and in recent months this has backfired on a few senseis, so I honestly cant see why this would be allowed, especially seen as it would make senseis essentially obsolete

The sempai system was created long ago, when there were members who specialised in things that other sensei didn't use. An example of this is when Chiryoku was the hyuga sempai, and Lok was a tai/gates sempai.

Now times have changed and sempai can teach anything in their sensei's place. But i see sempai just training anyone they want, even when their sensei is active, which is wrong.

If a sempai understood the jutsu well enough, why isn't he a sensei yet?

Being a sensei is boring and many people heard me say this in many different ways. Being a senpai to me is like a part time job, do it half of the time and not full time with the stress. That`s the reason for me and probably even some others for not being senseis.

I just had tol put that out there.

Edit: I still understand that you guys don`t want senpais teaching nin and tai but picture if the senpai system wasn`t up. There would be less rpers and the rp would have died a few months back. We still need more senseis and senpais because of all the new rpers need training but that is another thing.

Actually, sensei only have to teach up to 10 students, but they can teach what they want.

It still is freedom though. The sensei would give the test to those wanted to be his sempai. They pass, they get it.

Though I disagree with the idea. Just showing how you'd still have freedom with it.

well....if a sensei chooses a sempai this way there won't be so many problems regarding some sempai's training methods..this way a sensei is sure about the one he chose as his sempai....also sensei test is hard and the people who passed the test are talented ones and if other people can teach w/o taking the test there is no point in aiming to be a sensei as one can be a sempai....

A sensei normally takes one of his students as his sempai. After teaching them, he should be able to determine whether or not a student is capable of using the jutsu correctly and if they might be able to teach it correctly. And most sempais pick up the training method of their Senseis.

A sempai is a sensei's responsibility and they choose them how they want to. Weather it be a test or just checking out how they rp, or being a former student.

But sensei can't always help it when sempai f*ck up, as we have seen before. It's like babysitting, we can't always keep an eye on them.
