Sasori also has a better chance against Minato than most other shinobi, because he can control the kunai and has multiple bodies to switch in to if tagged.

I am doubting whether Sasori can actually control Metal without first touching it, similar to Toroi.

Sasori used his Hiruko puppet, his Third Kazekage puppet, his puppet body, and 100 more puppets. All poisoned... All controlled to the finest he could.... He could switch bodies with his heart.... He's not that strong >_>...

High level shinobi have countermeasures and he got beat out by two of the weaker shinobi. Kankuro surpassed him a longgggg time ago... Do you really believe in outdated stats

Sasori is just lucky that Naruto and Kakashi decided to go after Deidara instead of fighting Sasori. If it had been the other way around, Naruto and Kakashi probably would have ended the fight within the same chapter it began. Sasori, IMO, is the weakest of the Akatsuki. His techniques are interesting, but don't seem to be all that amazing. There's a reason, obviously, that Deidara went and captured Gaara instead of Sasori.
Kakashi's intelligence combined with Naruto's mass amount of chakra = a very short battle for Sasori.
If I had to put Sasori on a tier, it'd probably be somewhere around mid-Jounin, no higher.
