There was a snake in the battle between Itachi VS Sasuke.

After that battle the snake move out.

But than it got burn

shows the snake got burned up

than rain happened u think he is still living due to the rain?

What I believe is that because Sasuke had the curse seal it had Orochimarus Chakar inside him which aloud Orochimaru to appear when Sasuke was low on chakar... So the Orochimaru which showed up and Itachi sealled away was the hold Orochimaru had over Sasuke with the Curse seal...


The original Orochimaru is fusing with Kabuto. And still alive.

Personnaly i'd be glad if Orochimaru was dead and gone for good, i mean we all had enough of him, we saw him fight enough, another fight involving him would be a waste of pages.

But unfortunatly i think there's a slight chance for him to be alive, not because the rain stopped amaterasu (it cannot be stopped that way anyway) but because the snake that burned was not the only one that escaped Susano's sword.

So if he's alive, I believe he escaped in one of those snakes.

The snake was burned; the rain couldn'tve stopped amaterasu.

Orochimiaru is still sort of alive in Kabuto; eventually he'll come back through him. It's artistically ironic, because Kabuto tried to become stronger than Orochimaru by absorbing his remains, but, in fact, Kabuto will do Orochimaru the ultimate favor by bringing him back.

Yea, it's possible that the ACTUAL Orochimaru is still alive, if atleast one of the snakes escaped Amaterasu than he could be out there, somewhere. KabuMaru, eventually, will turn into full fledged Orochimaru. This was shown when Hinata used the Byakugan on him, it showed that even in the short amount of time he had Orochimaru in his body, it had already taken over 1/3 of his body.

I dont think Orochimaru will take 100% of Kabutos body.

Orochimaru is alive in two fronts, body and soul. His body/part of his being is being resserected inside Kabuto. Kabuto stated Oro is already trying to take over his body.

The second Oro being alive is his soul/mind which is trapped in Sussanoo's genjutsu forever/whenever he is let go. Oro took over Sasuke's body, but was repelled at the last moment. It's the same as if Oro took over a previous body of his and the body's owner kept control, Sasuke pushed Oro's mind/soul back as Oro did to his previous bodies.

I would LOVE to see due to this split in his being physical form/soul/mind that he turned back to how he was in the old days, a good person....would'nt it be something if it happend and he helped save Konoha :p Anyways eventoully the two parts will want to come whole again and Kabutomaru will search for Sasuke, who holds the key to Sussannoo
