kishi left clues he said the rinnegan has greater visual insight then the sharringan,when inos father is doing an autopsy on a body once a path of nagato he says how many mind barriers he has on him also the rinnegan and the sharringan users are blood related like the older brother and the younger brother so its much more likely that tsyukami is ineffective or at least has defences v real nagato and like i said before genjutsu from itachi was broken by sharringan user this is on Nagato on the paths of pain they are brain dead so genjutsu that doesnt affect the chakra signals is most likely ineffective
It is amazing this thread is still going, I've still not seen one valid itachi argument that would enable him to take on pain other than, KA, but that's pretty much an I give up from a debating stand point
they are not blood related you are really wrong there and that's one of the reasons why nagato would not be able to be break out easy. Look the guy is an uzumaki he does not have uchiha blood in him otherwise he would have been using sharingan powers and stuff like izanagi, he was given the rinnegan that is why he can't use all its powers except only its paths, rinnegan with uchiha and senju dna is supposed to be capable of doing much more like making reality into dream(izanagi). jiraya got him genjutsu even they had the mental blocks and sasuke broke it becus he is his bro and has the same blood in his veins and that is stated in the manga. genjutsu disturbs the chakra flow that is its ppurpose itachi just takes it to a whole new lvl by torturing his victims, he does not only have to use tsukiyomi he has a variety of genjutsu techs he was praised as one of the best genjutsu users of the uchiha clan remember.

One thing about naruto is you can't take things literally, Just a few manga's ago Raikage was the fastest ninja, Rinnegan was supposedly the strongest Dojutsu, and other crap constantly get proven wrong.
The manga stated alot of crap and turned around and lied on it's own self, just because Itachi says, only a blood user can get out doesn't mean it, like how bee said specifically, no genjutsu works on a jinchuuriki who is in perfect sync with it's beast so if he did get caught in Tsukiyomi, the manga would yet again lie on it's self, so this argument=invalid

Disturbing the chakra is one of the 3 ways to break out of genjutsu what i meant by ma and pas genjutsu is that they have to somehow affect a dead body and there brain dead so something has to be affected visual genjutsu is targeting the brain or why would all of his techniques focus on talking inside there head
yea i guess ur right about that but nagato breaking or being iommune to genjutsu has no proof whatsoever, I am just saying at least this is mentioned in the manga. and ur right a lot of times the manga just changes its mind. But ppl saying nagato is blood related to uchiha and crap is totally off until the manga proves otherwise, the guy is an uzumaki that is all we kno.
i am not denying anything man but the guy is only uzumaki(distant senju relative) he does not have uchiha blood in him, it actually makes a lot of sense that ,madara gave him the eyes, cos he can't do any techs that he does not have the bloodlines for. if he was truly related to uchiha and senju, he could be creating tailed beasts and making everything a dream, and if he was realted to the uchiha which the manga does not even state he can use the powers of the sharingan. So far it hasn't been stated that he has uchiha blood in him. he probably got the eyes from madara like madara stated otherwise would be capable of more things.

The main thing I try to get through when going against the 6 paths is that they have a pseudo mind, just because you get one path in a Tsukiyomi does not mean Nagato is automatically caught in it as well, Tsukiyomi vs. the 6 paths is death for Itachi, it only last a second in the real world, and can't kill Pains bodies, seeing as they have to be killed physically.
Now remember Jiraiya's genjutsu, it only got 3 pains as if they were 3 seperate entities, now we all know that Nagato shares their feild of vision, but he shares their hearing as well, so if it was possible to reach nagato through his bodies with a genjutsu, Jiraiya should have done just that, but only the 3 pains who were there got caught.

madara is a liar he didnt give him the rinnegan it showed you when he unlocked his rinnegan when his parents died in front of him and he also told sasuke he didnt attack konoha 16 years ago the uzumakis have large chakra reserves and exceptional stamnia that is why they can spam rinnegan techs that is why they can control tailed beasts because the older brother got the eyes and the younger brother got the body and will of fire
We actually have no proof of that really cos none of the other paths actually attacked during his genjutsu when jiraya used his genjutsu and it was only afterwards that he released it due to lack of knowledge did they come to attack him, that indicates something that they are all linked and genjutsu works on all of them when he used it on one and pain even later said if he knew our secret he would have beaten us. itachi can't kill anyone with genjutsu alone but it does stop the path and immobilizes him. and why can't they all be caught in genjutsu if they have shared vision but lets forget about that now. Itachi can still use genjutsu on one path and still attack the others with other techs, its not an instant death like u put it.
right i dont know wether you dont know much about naruto but the uzumakis are related to the senju and the senju is the younger brother and the ucichas are the older brother decendants what is so hard to understand you just argue about anything i say when its the truth
we have no proof that itachi is sasukes brother wheres the dna test to proof it its called asuming,if all the paths were caught and nagato was caught in genjutsu how was nagato talking through his paths can the paths talk by themselves no there brain dead and ttysukami you have to stand still to use as shown both times hes used it in konoha vs kakashi and vs sasuke he didnt move i research the manga thoroughly so when i talk to people like you i dont get bogged down in there crap i know what im taliking about

who told u that they can control tailed beasts so far only uchihas with ems or ms can do it, It is likely he was telling the truth cos nagato is only able to use only certain powers of the rinnegan and think about he does not even use genjutsu or the izanagi like madara who has the uchiha dna and senju dna. So far all we kno is he is uzumaki and yes he has exceptional chakra but he does not have the other bloodlines like senju and uchiha to allow him full use of the rinnegan.
As I said before when sum1 said this, that is pure speculation, for all we know the bodies could have been on the way the moment the others were caught in the genjutsu, normally the animal path summons other pains as needed but seeing as he was in the genjutsu, the others had to get to Jiraiya, and then set up an ambush, and Nagato heard the frogs song, if Nagato didn't hear than how could he respond with conversation and such? This alone proves that for Nagato to be caught in any type of genjutsu, you have to get Nagato.

dude i kno its speculation but all i am saying is that its possible not absolute but all i am saying is that paths are able to be gotten in genjuts, but all of them at once with one genjutsu might be possible not saying its the truth.
look at the episodes 172 it shows him awakening his rinnegan while watching his parents die madara is a liar.Senju are closely related to the uzumaki its all stated in the manga and narutos mother is an uzumaki and he has a tailed beast inside of him right and hashirama a senju could control the 9 tails and other bujuu so im right as usual
