i forgot i had an assignment to design an A3 poster for my graphics class due tomorrow so i kinda rushed some random ass space theme, i named it after the planet which is most likely to have life forms on it because i'm a huge fan of astronomy ^_^ and yea, just want to see what you guys think, personally i don't think it's brilliant, it only took an hour and a half to do soooo any helpful criticism would be appreciated c:

there is stars, as i said it is A3, it would be ridiculous if you could easily see them on a monitor.

and also Gliese 581 g, orbits a red dwarf which emits a deep red almost purple in some cases, light, thus why i did not do a bright orange / yellow.

thanks and yea, it surprisingly took the longest time to do, i couldn't really get it looking the way i wanted so i kinda just left it before i made it worst.

Planet needs more of an spacey atmosphere around it.

As a whole it looks fine tho since it should probably look real there are some mistakes- there probably wouldn't be any ligh/shadow as it has nothing to be projected on (until there are gases etc which shouldn't as planets clear those with their gravity). Also the planet seems a little flat to me.

that's not really true the stars should be shown. We don't see them in daylight due to atmosphere that reflect the light from the sun from all directions towards us and overpowering light from stars. In space where is no atmosphere you would see stars clearly even close to a star.


but I like how you made the clouds on the planet xd
