the samehada and zabuza are more than enough to kill itachi. you are comparing itachi S-class vs. 7swordsmen all of whom are S-class, a ridiculous argument. note: samehada absorbs chakra itachi= below avg chakra zabuza= kakashi like skill, and intellegence.

Itachi is great but in way can he beat the 7 swordsman of the mist. The ones we know of now are not a apart of it. If half of you people read you would know that it said original members. The original members created the group they are the best of the swordsman they know ever trick and jutsu to go along with there respected swords since they pretty much created them.

Now if you wanna see what the fight will look like go watch the jiraiya vs pain fight again thats the outcome for itachi. 1 "S" ranked ninja can get past the sharingan so 7 can easily do it. itachi can cast amaterasu about 5 times a day and use susano but thats it he doesnt have enough chakra period. On top of all that its hard for a sharingan user to watch 3 ninja of jonin class so lets see itachi try and keep up with 7 "S" ranked ninja.

But if anyone wants to keep going on and on about how not amazing itachi is plz feel free.

-reason for saying that is because when u think about it, zabuza was considered like one of the strongest of the 7.
*lets measure his strength based on battles
1. his battle with naruto sakura kakashi, and sasuke
2. there are those who will now say awww kakashi did all the work, false
kakashi got captured, and sasuke and KID NARUTO devised a plan to free him?
3. we see was itachi did to sasuke when he was a lil more developed chidori and wat not, the sasuke and naruto that outsmarted him, work even close to tthat level but that managed 2 reach him.
with that being said i think itachi WOULD PROBABLY WIN, PROBABLY DONT ATTACK ME LOL, no im not a fanboy, im a sasuke fan, but based on itachi's battle prowess i think he'd win
-and thats not with spamming susano, and amarterasu
-when he became an anbu blac op im sure he didnt have those ablilities, but yet he was considered a genuis by all, and a truly gifted ninja.

Anyways i voted on the swordsmen, because well it seems to be the most reasonable/logic choice
