Yes there is. There has been flash backs to young Hiruzen but he hasn't shown anything. So saying prime is like irrational. Every thread I see its Prime 3rd vs anyone and he wins. It is ridiculous.

It does say somewhere that in his prime the 3rd hokage was better than the previous hokages and we have seen how good they were so it does give some sort of an indication to how good he was then just not an accurate one

I already know that BUT have we seen any of that. No. The only thing we saw was him combining justus (Both kakashi and Jiriaya also did this along with other people), summoning Monkey King, and Death Seal.We have seen him fighting 2 dead kages (Oro's justu) that if you really want to watch it over again didn't do anything. Now if it was kabuto's edo tensei where they will be full powered than yea I might change my mind.
