[Debate] Are Atheists a Positive or a Negative Force?

Why would you make another thread, seriously ? I'm tired of repeating myself and trying to prove my point to atheists, and I believe the feeling is mutual.
No matter where you ask for opinions there will be people who will ask you to explain the existence of dinosaurs, planets, brag about physics, and tell you that Hitler was, in fact, a bad person for murdering a couple of jewfags good riddance.

On-topic, I don't think atheists are bad, just plain stupid. I mean they can't be influential towards their belief, or rather, lack of belief, unless they are persistent scumbags.

actually I dont care a lot if someone is or not atheist.....everyone is free for it own choise.....I am a religious person but I dont see anything bad at people who do not believe at God.....its your way of beliving people....so dont keep arguing with each other

It all depends on the persons personality. Like others have said, I don't go around screaming, DO NOT BELIEVE, IT IS A LIE, into peoples faces. Nor do I sit and ignore it when someone tries to force their opinions on me. My reply to this whole thread in general is "Civility is present in a group of one, add one more, it's a free for all based on who has a louder voice..."

Neither. As said before it depends on the personality. If someone who is religious goes and kills someone of another religion it would be a bad person, but that wouldn't mean that his whole religion is bad. As long as the atheists let religious people be religious and the religious people let the atheists be atheists there isn't a problem and they are both not bad. If they start to fight each other then they both are wrong. There are always people in a group that are different and will fight, but that doesn't mean they all do. If you would say atheists are bad, you could also say Christians and Muslims are bad but nothing is bad as long as they don't hate, discriminate, harm, etc people because they have different thoughts about things and believe in something different.

People who think that if one person of a certain group is like that all are, are naive. If I wear a green shirt, would all atheists wear a green shirt? No. You can't judge a whole group by what one person does or says. That's just stupid.

By asking yourself that question you compare atheists with people that aren't atheists ergo theists ergo religion.

Hitler was not an atheist, he was trying to spread his Arial race,
much more like a religion.
Stalin was an atheist, but he did war not because of atheism, but because of communism.

There is no war in the history of man, which fought for Atheism

I am not offended, and I agree that sometimes comparison between two things is reasonable but the question doesn't require the comparison. And there is a difference in bashing religion or an absence of one or just answering a question. Most posts here don't have anything to do with this thread question...

I am not offended, and I agree that sometimes comparison between two things is reasonable but the question doesn't require the comparison. For the record, I am not basing any religion. I think that everyone has to believe whatever they want. And to be honest, I don't have anything to do with this thread questions either. I just replied on what was said before. They were talking about religion besides atheism (look at posts before mine). I don't see why it wouldn't be allowed to discus our opinions and such, even though it wasn't asked. It's not like we are suddenly talking about rocket science or deep sea live or something.
Anyway, I did not post here to discuss what we may or may not say in this thread, just to see opinions.
