In another thread ppl said that Gaara is immune to short to mid-range ninjutsu and he can easily handle long ranged techs. so how possible is to defeat him....

They said that when you are fighting to protect someone, your true power will unleash and Gaara is fighting to protect Naruto. He said he will show no mercy just to protect Naruto, so he will do anything to kill Sasuke even if it is meant his own death.
