Sasuke vs. Jiraiya

When jiraiya fought pain, pain himself said jiraiya himself would have defeated him had he had some intel on him, while on the other hand naruto had full intel, pain was not fighting with intent to kill, hinata interfered which triggered the 9 tails which was the only reason naruto beat deva path.

Jirayias speed isn't his most impressive trait, while in sage mode I believe he can definitely dodge amaterasu, he might not be able to dodge susanoos arrow, however he does have more than one barrier technique as well as many earth style techniques he could potentially use to block. However danzo was able to avoid the arrows and I don't believe him to be as strong as jiraiya.

Sasukes chidori is not strong enough to deflect one of jirayias gigantic rasengans, and just bekiraiya uses oil in combination with his fire techs in order to power them up, and sasukes lightning has an advantage over earth but it doesn't mean it can block any eartj style attack.

no matter what pain said, the fight told a different story. jiraya was destroyed just in melee against the 6 and had to trick 3 of the weak paths to even kill them. sage naruto wasnt beaten, it was normal naruto, and sage naruto could well fight the five of the paths and killed many of them in melee, something jiraya didnt even after getting to know about the rinnegan-link.

why should he be able to dodge amaterasu if sasuke can see him? if sasuke potentially is even faster than him? you can only dodge amaterasu if you are to fast for sasuke's sharingan.

the only thing where danzo is really strong is in taking blows. and to be honest i think that danzo would have been a really tough match for jiraya. izanagi is just insane. apart from that the huge super fast mokuton-wall wasnt enough to completely block the arrow, i doubt that some little earth-walls could do it.

i havent seen any strong earth jutsu by jiraya at all, so if sasuke is able to completely neutralize deideira's variable clay, i doubt that jiraya can hit him with something like that.

ever tried to fight with a stone against an enemy who can predict movements and uses a spear? even with a huge stone that wont work. apart from that the moment jiraya charges at sasuke with a melee-attack it's the invitation to use amaterasu or susano'o.

I agree, there is no way J-boy is stronger than Naruto without his Kyuubi Mode. (Does anyone remmber? Naruto finished Pain without a Mode, even tho he is way over powered in the anime/manga.) Sasuke wouldn't 'destory' J-Boy but in the end i really do feel J-Boy would die to the hands of Sasuke.
It would be great to really see this but...Lets break it down:

Sasuke has the eyes, that is the main thing that he has up on Jiraiya, and we all know that Jiraiya is not that fast even in sage mode.

Im going to get this out of the way before you all start freaking out. I hate Sasuke,im in no way shape or form a 'Sasuke fan boy', i think he was a crappy idea for a bad guy and has made this story of Naruto drag on to a way to obvious ending.


I really don't see where you guys are coming from saying that J-boy would have no problem beating Sasuke...maybe when he was 12...before he left the village, but now? No way in hell.

My vote goes to Sasuke hands down.

Couple things to keep in mind
1. Sasuke does NOT have Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan.
2. Sasuke's eyes are perfectly fine, he is not losing his vision, and he has complete version of Susanoo.
3. Jiraiya does have Sage Mode, and he can summon Ma and Pa, and all the other toads.
4. Sasuke does not have the curse seal.

So you're telling me J-Man could melee battle with the likes of Killerbee the way Sasuke did? Even with a 3-Tomoe he's dodging frigging Killerbee at pointblank range, if not for the 8-Tails providing him with durability against Sasuke's blows, and a huge amount of chakra to disturb Genjutsu with, Sasuke > Killerbee.

So if you're telling me Jiraiya > Killerbee > Sasuke :flaw:.

Sasuke > Jiraiya (Mangekyo is overkill IMO, Sasuke could beat him without the Mangekyo IMO i.e vs Itachi, because IMO even sick Itachi > Jiraiya).

in close combat no one over come uchiha eyes as they are awesome so in taijutsu - sasuke wins
never show u r genjutsu in front of uchiha as they pawns u - sasuke wins
so finally it comes to ninjutsu - sasuke's amaterasu for offense ,,susano for defense + unltimate genjutsu jiraiya weakness -- sasuke wins again

finally summons are much of a fight against sasukes manda beside if sasuke uses his amaterasu its over for those summons too so its sasukes victory clearly

sasuke is more intelligent than jiraiya remember and his chakra manipulation is excellent

Jiraiya is always underestimated because he lost to pain and it looked like an easy loss but sasuke cause never beat pain in his life because sasuke is dependant on jutsus... and the pain can absorb any jutsu. J man found a way around it... Sasuke is no match for J man.. Too many fanboys...
