New Hokage Needed. ( spoilers )

So, you'd have really limited choices, wouldn't you?
Gai-------Not exactly the brightest, Strong, Cares about furthering the "power of youth".
Asuma---Dead.
Kakashi--Dead
Tsunade--Dead
Shikaku--Smart, Calm, Strength in battle (unknown)
Kurenai--Smart, Strong genjutsu user, Caring, Mother.
Ton-Ton--It's a piglet, obviously wouldn't be a smart Hokage choice.
Shizune--More of a Medical Ninja than Hokage.
Elders----Smart, logical, but stuck in the ways of the past.
Naruto---Already turned down the Hokage offer.
Itachi----Would make a great choice, but he's not part of the village anymore, and he's kinda already dead, and would most likely die after the new and improved Kabuto dies, because the jutsu wouldn't be active anymore.
In my opinion, either Kurenai or Shikaku would be the next Hokage, logically speaking, but considering the fact that Kurenai is now a Mom, i think that she would have way too many responsibilities and wouldn't accept the position. Shikaku would be the smartest choice, or at least I believe so.

If Itachi was still alive, he would make a great Hokage but only if the Uchiha incident did not happen. Itachi will always be known as the murderer who massacred his entire clan to test his power.
Kakashi would be my #1 choice but you crossed him out

Perhaps this was foreshadowing events that are yet to come? Also consider the fact that he took initiative to bring up Sasuke and how he has to die when no one else did. I loved that chapter with all my heart.

you all think with your dicks... you want strong hokage? you want smart hokage? just take hinata's dad he was able to kill ninga by just moving his hand and the killed ninja was atleast 50meters away and He IS smart unlike guy who couldnt remember kisame....
Neji-He would be my favorite to become Hokage after of course Kakashi and Naruto.
Hiashi-He has moral issues cursing his own familly.
Shikamaru-Lazy and still too weak.
Shikaku-Seems a great choice and likely not lazy but he is probably weak in battle like his son.
Guy-One of the strongest in the village along with Kakashi but still just plain dumb.
Konohamaru-He has talent it seems and good blood from the 3rd hokage to uncle Asuma but he is still growing.

Im actually considering him, but i can't see anything wrong with him being Hokage, and he'd would make the most sense...

well i say fukasaku! i know he is a toad but still he is a sage and smart and powerful and if he would be the hokage all the other toads will help the leaf if it gets attackt

late to the thread and don't want to read over 10 pages so maybe a some of the Hyuga lineage if that hasn't been thought of. I don't know if ANBU are considered likely choices because of a lack of knowledge of who most of them are.
I think the hyuga clan would be a good choice personally.
