Ok so not downing the idea you have going at all because I'm sure some of what you have said may come to pass soon but naruto not taking hokgae is a slim chance for a few good ressones one being it's a promise that he made to him self and to his family to the village also second he's knows from what he's been threw that he is the only person who can fill the job his powers have Sherpast all of his masters and he knows that he owes it to the village but After saying that I think that chogys dad would be next in fine after gai because the two are the strongest and chogys father is one of the smartest

i would have to say of the remaining candidates it would actually have to be Gai he is not stupid but he is hyperactive and i mean come on the previous hokage was a drunk and a gambler... we could take a chance on gai. just limit his unilateral decisive power. let sakura and shikamaru be his aides de camp.
i think gai would turn it down. for several reasons but mainly because its just not his style. like kakashi he doesnt want that responability. plus asuming that his rival kakashi has died and hes the next choice he might not take it out of some sense of honor. also i find it far more likely that guy will die in this war. hes already used morning peacock and noon tiger....its only a matter of time before he uses evening...somthing. over all i'd have to say nartuto...we arent suposed to say that but i just cant see him turning that down.

its not his style you are correct but he wouldn't turn it down if it was for the sake of the village.
also lets not forget we have only seen guys taijutsu just because he has not used it doesn't mean he doesn't have ninjutsu just means he prefers taijutsu (just like itatchi who prefers to genjutsu but he can still fight like a pro) i think his ninjutsu might be creepy if he is forced to use it. So lets not count him out in this war.

right i know he has ninjutsu. i wasent saying his taijutsu strenth disqualifyed him from being hokage. on the contrary hes one of the strongest leaf ninjas because of it. what i'm saying is that we've already seen 2 of his ultimate moves. the 3rd will require the opining of the final gate. which will give him powers above that of a hokage...and then he will die. i'm betting during the war he will use that move to save sobodys life and sacrafice himself.

Fine then you know what then I pick Goku!! the guy who made this thread did not define the rules to this enough and we don't know much of anything of the character's except the closest to Naruto cause, If all we can go on are off of facts then the fillers are killing us I mean with out the fillers there is not much of a background on much of anyone except team seven. So I will say it again I pick Goku FTW!!!!!!!! (And I can make a whole back story for how Goku there too)
