I believe that tobi is madara or obito in obito's body using him as a vessel. tobi = obito, alias?
i think that kabuto's secret sixth box is either madara's body or the sage of sixth paths. tobi got scared and kabuto said" i won't tell anyone about your secret.

...I want to pull my hair out. Tobi absolutely CANNOT be obito, because obito's eye was crushed, and we clearly saw he had 2 sharingan and an uncrushed face during the fight with Konan. So...no... The sage of 6 path's body is unable to be found, kabuto himself said it was lost.

tobi is probably obito or madara in obito's body. he only has one sharingan. the names tobi and obito r very alike.this is why i think tobi was frightened when he saw kabuto's sixth summoning, which i think is madara or sage o' six.and kabuto said he didn't tell anyone about tobi's secret. just my thoughts

sorry but i still believe Obito is tobi and if not i dont believe is madara for one reason Zetsu the man that knows tobi longer then everyone and now that people believe he is madara, Zetsu still calls him tobi and now madara...reasons why the mask man can be Obito
1. Obito's half body was crushed not the other half and if you see in the fight with danzo horsemen he just took his arm off so i believe one half is obitos and the other half is Zetsu.
2.Obito was buried in the ground when he got crushed and we have learn what Zetsu is so i believe he saved obito
3. then kabuto's coffin what will shock and also what does so called "madara" have to hide tht so important he agrees to side with kabuto

Ok, to shoot down both your theories again. Obito was a teenager with Kakashi, so how would he know about Izuna, and all these other things that happened so long ago, including about the fight between Madara and Harashima. And if he was obito, he would be in his 30s, and when we saw Tobi's face it had age lines, and was severely wrinkled. Also, it didn't have a crushed face, the similar names was a ploy by Kishi to probably try and throw us off/confuse us for a while. But it is impossible now, get over it. Obito is dead, crushed under a boulder...SPLAT!
As for who I think is in the coffin. I think it is Izuna, because of the fact that he was extremely strong and probably knows Tobi's weaknesses if he is indeed Madara

I am posting this because I am sick of seeing these names/threads come up where the people think the aforementioned people still have a chance at being Tobi. I think the most annoying one of these is either the belief that he is the So6P or Itachi. Izuna and Shisui were viable options up until recently. Now I will go through and say one sentence on why if you believe Tobi is one of those people, you are wrong.
Obito - He is dead and crushed under a boulder, he also loved Konoha, so why would he want to destroy it.
Itachi - This one is stupid, Itachi hated Madara, there has been scenes where the 2 of them have been together and it makes no sense why he would be Itachi.
Sage of 6 Paths - He is old and dead.
Nagato - He has been proved to be dead and he doesn't have the sharingan.
Shisui - This was a popular choice up until recently, if you don't know why it can't be him, read the manga, I will not spoil it.
Izuna - He has been shown in a coffin, dead, his eyes were taken from him by Madara, and he died shortly after in battle. To many sites say this to be true to discount it...

So, now that we've gotten that out of the way... To everyone who still believes I am wrong and one of those listed is Tobi...:flaw:....NO!

lol, ty, it wasn't meant to be mean. Alot of people took it the wrong way. I was just trying to help newer people or people who hadn't kept up with the manga understand why some of the older theories are wrong or outdated :/

couldnt someone use his body to use sharingan easily? like taking some pieces from his corpse

Madara, it's who makes the most sense for Tobi to be atm. That could change with the next episode though. The more that gets revealed about Madara, the more that we can prove or disprove him being Tobi. And to Darky, no, first of all, I don't think anyone else was aware of Obito's death besides Kakashi, Rin, and whoever they told. Certainly NOT Tobi, how could he? And the fact that it has been 20+ years at least since he died so the most that could happen with his corpse is maybe Kabuto could reanimate it using Edo Tensei. But any parts of his actual corpse, such as the other eye, is long gone, into dust, or bone, or nothingness :/

That's another popular choice that alot of people think is what is going on. The only problem with that is that the current body of Tobi is old, like REALLY old. And it is said he used hashiramas DNA to extend his life. So if he could switch bodies, why would he do it on an old, halfway dead body? He would use it on someone like Sasuke or another young, strong ninja
