Who is or was the mosi intelligent Akatsuki member? My guess will be Itachi. Let me know who and why.

Sasuke is ninja smart but has no common sense. He trained with Orochimaru just to get more power to kill his brother, used Manda as shield against Deidara, and cast a genjutsu on Danzo during their battle. Not bad for a shinobi fueled by hatred.
