Chapter 6: New Season
Three Years has passed since we last saw Konoha. During that time Konoha has managed not only to recover completely from their betrayal by the Uchihas, but they've managed to become even stronger then they were before the incident. The Land of Valleys mission was the stepping stone to that success. Now currently, missions are pouring into the village nonstop and the success rate of these missions is over 76%. Money is coming in from these missions, fueling Konoha's development. New additions have been added to the village and the village has increased in size. Not only size but in military power. Konoha's standing military force (including genin) is over 16,000, and the new technologies created as a result of the massive flow of money has put Konoha at the top of all the other shinobi villages in power...Despite the wonderful achievements made by Konoha, the internal struggle between certain characters has yet to change much since the last encounter. In fact it is at this moment in time where their problems will escalate. A new season arrives in Konoha, and like with all seasons people must know how to adapt to their environment...those who can't will suffer and die.
In a forest near the boarder of the Land of Rain, leading into Land of Earth, two shinobi run for their dear lives away from their pursuer. One of them looks back and notices that the one chasing them is nowhere in sight.
Shinobi 1 “Lets rest up and think of a plan I think we lost him”
Shinobi 2 “I set some traps back there, I'll do the same here to buy us some time”
One of the shinobi sits down behind a tree while his partner heads up the trees to set some traps. The moment the second shinobi left a hand was placed over the mouth of the shinobi resting. He opens his eyes suddenly but a split second after that his neck was slit and he died without even seeing his killer. The second shinobi returns and see's his friend standing before him.
Shinobi 2 “Okay I set up the traps, that should give us some time, we have to figure out what we're going to do, that shinobi is too strong for us to handle by ourselves”
Shinobi 1 “We should regroup with our leader”
Shinobi 2 “You know we can't do that”
Shinobi 1 “Why? We'll surely die if we don't”
Shinobi 2 “You know exactly why. We can't let...Wait you're not!”
The shinobi leaps back and takes out his kunai and gets on guard.
Shinobi 2 “Who the hell are you?!”
Shinobi 1 “You saw through my disguise”
The shinobi goes up in a cloud of smoke and Kagami appears in his place. Kagami looks at the shinobi with no expression on his face with his Sharingan activated.
Kagami “I find it hard that you saw through my jutsu even though I was able to copy your friend down to the point”
Shinobi 2 “I'm a sensor, I recognized that you weren't my brother from your chakra now where is he?!”
Kagami “I didn't get a good reading on you before you started running, if I did I could have told you were a sensor. I should have taken you out first and used your brother as the bait to find your leader”
Shinobi 2 “You'll never get that information from me”
Kagami “Your clan is more important to you then your own life...I know how you feel exactly, that's how I feel about my clan”
Shinobi 2 “*Those eyes...he's an Uchiha (swallows frightened). The only way out of this is if I spring a trap*”
The shinobi moves his eyes down to the right and then looks back up. When he does Kagami is gone and he feels a hand on his shoulder.
Kagami “Never take your eyes off me”
The shinobi looks extremely shocked and at that moment Kagami stabs him in the back through his heart and the shinobi falls. A short moment after that Shisui drops down from above the trees. Underneath his left arm he holds two bodies, underneath his right arm he holds another body and he hold three dead bodies tied together in thick wire in his right hand.
Shisui “Kagami-kun you should have left one alive”
Kagami “Don't talk to me about that, you're holding six dead bodies in your arms”
Shisui “But I didn't have any genjutsu to make them give us any information, and besides just because I can kill doesn't mean I like it all that much”
Kagami “These were the only two in this sector. My genjutsu isn't as strong as Tsubaki's I don't know how to get them to spill their guts”
Shisui “Speaking of Tsubaki, where is she? When we split up you two were together”
Kagami “She sensed more shinobi from the clan to split off of the bunch we went after so she decided to take care of them. There were only about 3 more. Were those all the shinobi in your sector?”
Shisui “Yes”
Shisui throws the six bodies down on top of the dead shinobi Kagami just killed and he stretches his arm from the strain of carrying them all the way here (Despite this he still managed to carry six grown, three of them in one hand). Suddenly the two shinobi get a radio transmission from Tsubaki.
Tsubaki “Shisui...Kagami can you hear me?”
Kagami “What is it?”
Tsubaki “I found out where their leader is. One of the shinobi spilled it”
Shisui “Genjutsu?”
Tsubaki “No, just a snitch. I'm heading for him now but he's about 5 miles north west of your position”
Kagami “Tsubaki this guy is a powerful shinobi don't engage him until we get there”
Tsubaki “I'm not...like when I was....ago....”
Shisui “Tsubaki your transmission is breaking up, you're leaving the range”
Suddenly they get static and they loose Tsubaki. Shisui and Kagami begin heading towards the leader of the clan and Tsubaki's location. They pick up great speed get closer to their target. A few minutes pass and both Shisui and Kagami catch up to Tsubaki. However she is engaged in combat with the leader of the shinobi. Tsubaki pants and her right shoulder bleeds out. The leading shinobi stands tall on the other side. Kagami and Shisui place themselves in front of Tsubaki the moment they arrive.
Kagami “We told you not to engage him. He's too strong for you to take by yourself”
Tsubaki “I'm not weak anymore Kagami”
Shisui “We don't think you're weak Tsubaki, he's too much for any one of us to take on by ourselves”
Clan Leader “You shinobi from Konoha...you've terrorized me and my clan and you've killed many of my kinsmen. This is unacceptable”
Shisui “We are only doing our mission sir. If you and your clan had simply left the Land of Fire we wouldn't have to do this”
Kagami “Stop making excuses for him, he knew exactly what would happen if he stayed. We gave him enough warning, his clan's defeat was his fault. He underestimated us”
Clan Leader “If you think that I'm going to be done in by a bunch of brats who prance around claiming to be shinobi then you're sadly mistaking”
Kagami “(Stares intensively with his Sharingan) Brats huh?!”
Shisui “Kagami, don't break ranks we have to go in forma~”
Kagami launches out towards the shinobi taking out a kunai. Kagami begins piling on attacks, however the shinobi proves more then skillful with his katana and is able to defend against Kagami's assault. The shinobi manages to back away from Kagami and he swings his blade, which lets out a powerful slashing wave of chakra towards Kagami. Kagami evades the attack and suddenly the shinobi appears behind Kagami, using great speed to do so. Kagami's eyes widen as he sees the shinobi behind him.
Kagami “*Damn he's fast*”
The shinobi swings his blade and Kagami manages to block the attack with his kunai but he's sent flying back from the impact.
Clan Leader “You underestimate me BOY!”
The shinobi makes the seal for the Shadow clone jutsu and he makes 6 shinobi copies of himself. The six copies went after Kagami and began barraging him with a melody of speedy kenjutsu attacks. Kagami's Sharingan was able to keep up with their movements and so was his body for the most part. Two shinobi came at Kagami from the front swinging down their blades. Kagami catches one of them on the wrist before the blade reaches him and Kagami blocks the other with his kunai. Two go at him from behind and Kagami pulls the shinobi he holds onto, into the path of one of the shinobi causing his blade to stab one. Kagami back kicks the other and those two disappear. One shinobi leaps down from above and another approaches his rear. Kagami forces off the shinobi he engages with his blade, and releases the other one he holds onto and escapes through a side opening, evading the attack. Suddenly the real one emerges from underneath Kagami. Kagami manages to evade the attack as well and get away from the remaining shinobi.
Clan Leader “You're fast...but you're not fast enough to evade my attack”
Suddenly all the remaining clones and the original swing their blades and like before, large waves of chakra go straight to Kagami. However this time the attacks combine and create one monstrous wave. Kagami's eyes get even wider in overwhelming shock. Kagami attempts to evade the large attack however it creates a powerful explosion affect upon impact. As the smoke clears the shinobi stands tall looking at Kagami. Kagami remained alive however he was panting rapidly.
Clan Leader “You may have dodged that last one but I can tell that was you're last burst of energy”
Kagami pants with one eye open, looking exhausted. Kagami begins making quick seals and he uses his Great Fireball technique. He gets rid of the clones but in the blink of an eye the real shinobi is behind Kagami and he stabs him through the heart. Kagami coughs up blood and turns his head to the shinobi.
Clan Leader “You were foolish to attack by yourself. I didn't need full power to deal with the likes of you”
Kagami “(laughs), you're such an idiot”
The clan leader looks at Kagami confused as his body disperses into many crows. The crows fly around him in a circle and the clan leader looks even more confused.
Clan Leader “What the...Genjutsu?! But when?”
The shinobi releases the genjutsu and the moment he does, he's hit with a devastating blow through 3 trees. The shinobi tries to get up but he's unable to. All of his ribs are broken and the shock from the attack caused his adrenalin to prevent him from moving, only shaking from pure shock of the attack. Shisui stands where the shinobi originally was looking, expressionless at the man he just punched with great force.
Clan Leader “(choking) But...but...”
Kagami “Really Tsubaki how were you unable to beat this guy before? He couldn't see through my genjutsu”
Kagami sits up in a tree above the shinobi and he looks up at the teen, surprised that he's untouched.
Tsubaki “I used up most of my chakra dealing with the others I couldn't do much with this guy on my own”
Kagami “That's why we told you to wait, geez”
Kagami drops down and the three shinobi get together.
Clan Leader “How...did~”
Kagami “When you thought you had the upper hand getting behind me the first time. You were stupid enough to look me in the eyes”
Note: When the shinobi used his first wave and then got behind Kagami and his eyes widened. Both gazes met and at that moment Kagami cast his genjutsu.
Clan Leader “That...attack...”
Shisui “I decided to wait for Kagami's jutsu to take it's coarse. If he could have beaten you with that one jutsu there would've been no need for me to attack”
Kagami “Is that all the shinobi from the clan?”
Tsubaki “I'm not sensing anymore chakra similarities within the range. Konoha has set up a barrier so if any of them went there they'd be taken out, that can only mean they fled for the boarder and left the country.”
Clan Leader “You...brats...”
Kagami “These brats took out all of your strongest kinsmen and you with little to no problem. Shisui you can take care of the rest I'll tend to Tsubaki”
Shisui “Why do I have to do it? He'll die eventually I know for a fact that those broken ribs punctured at least his lungs and maybe his liver. You know I don't like killing all that much”
Kagami “Because I said so, I was put as team leader for this mission”
Shisui “(sighs) alright”
Shisui walks over to the shinobi, who has managed to move and attempts to crawl away from the three young shinobi. Shisui grabs his leg and drags him back. He picks the shinobi up by the neck with one hand and in an instant snaps his neck and drops him. Shisui walks back to his teammates and Kagami has wrapped Tsubaki's arm in a sling.
Shisui “Mission complete”
Note: Mission: Assassinate Mei-Kaku clan.

Kagami “Alright lets bring the bodies back to the village, Tsubaki you head on back to the village, me and Shisui will take care of everything else”
Tsubaki “I still have one good arm you know”
Kagami “Doesn't mean it's strong enough, you could still hurt yourself”
Tsubaki “You're too overprotective of me Kagami...fine, I'll humor you since you're the captain this time”
Kagami “You're not humoring me you're following my order indefinitely, now get out of here”
Tsubaki leaves the two and Shisui goes and picks up the shinobi. They head back and they get the other shinobi that they left behind and they head back to the village. After several minutes they meet back up with Tsubaki at the entrance to the village. Shisui heads to the medical corp. to drop off the bodies while Tsubaki and Kagami head to the Hokage to give their mission report.
Tobirama “Good job work you guys, where's Shisui?”
Kagami “Taking the bodies to autopsy”
Tobirama “Alright then. I'm going to give you three some vacation time for your extra help on these high class missions”
Tsubaki “Really?! That's great. We've been going on back-to-back-to-back missions for the past two weeks. To tell you the truth I'm nothing less then exhausted”
Mito “And from the looks of it you had a little bit of struggle on this last mission (looks at her sling)”
Tsubaki “Oh this? This is nothing (laughs)”
Tobirama “Tsubaki go get your shoulder checked out and Kagami go register your time in at the department and both of you go and get some rest. If you pass Shisui by tell him the same”
The two nod their heads and they leave the presence of the Hokage.
Mito “Those three have really come along, they have some of the best mission completion rates of the village, and their skills only seem to skyrocket as they get older”
Miyagi “Well you know what they say, a shinobi's skills are a reflection of their master's teachings”
Miyagi enters the room holding a fairly large scroll on his back.
Mito “Don't flatter yourself. Although I do admit your heavy training with them did have some help”
Miyagi “This scroll belongs to the Daimyou of the Land of Snow, when I took it to him he requested that we keep it here for safe keeping. I wanted to know what you wanted Tobirama-sama?”
Tobirama “Keep it in the Archive Library and send a message to the Daimyou telling him that we'll keep it under watch until his village is complete”
Miyagi nods and he disappears with the scroll.
Kagami and Tsubaki walk through the village heading towards the medical corp.
Tsubaki “This isn't a real big injury you know. I don't need to go to the hospital.”
Kagami “I only put pressure on the wound and wrapped it up. You're going to need more then that”
Tsubaki “You're always so overprotective Kagami”
Kagami “That's because you're my teammate, and you tend to be reckless”
Tsubaki “I'm not the worthless little girl I was when we were genin you know”
Kagami “You were never worthless Tsubaki, will you stop saying that”
Tsubaki “But I was. During that mission in the Land of Valleys...I wanted to just quite so I didn't hinder you and Shisui anymore. I wasn't strong enough to help you, I could only get captured”
Kagami “Shut up about that already, you're a strong kunoichi. You're smart, one of the strongest genjutsu users in the village, and your sensory abilities are like no other. I get real sick of you doubting yourself all the time”
Tsubaki blushes as the neutral toned Kagami praises her abilities as a kunoichi.
Kagami “I'm overprotective because you're my friend and I care about you more then I do most others...I can trust you with practically anything so that's why I feel obligated to look after you”
Tsubaki “(blushes) alright you win...I'll be more careful...so what are you going to do with your vacation time?”
Kagami “Is that something you really need to ask?”
Tsubaki “Well the village spring festival is next week and you always train like it's the only thing to do.”
Kagami “You're asking me out on a date?”
Tsubaki “(blushes) well yeah, a friendly date between close friends and teammates”
Kagami “Fine but not for the entire week, I need to get stronger”
Tsubaki “That's what you always say”
Tsubaki and Kagami reach the hospital and Shisui is seen exiting just as they arrive. Shisui smiles at his two teammates cheerfully and greets them.
Shisui “Well how did everything go?”
Tsubaki “Tobirama-sama gave us a vacation”
Kagami “Yeah he said for you to go to the Academy and clock out”
Shisui “Very well. I guess I'll see you two around then”
Shisui leaves and heads to the Academy. Kagami leaves Tsubaki as she enters the hospital and heads to the KMPD where he has obtained the rank of a senior officer...Back at the Hokage residence urgent news arrives, which calls for an emergency meeting of the council. Tobirama and Tenzou enter the meeting room, where all the shinobi representatives sit awaiting the Hokage.
Tobirama “What is the status report on the movements of Kumo?”
Councilman 1 “Sir Kumo's troops have made it through the boarder into the Land of Forests and the Land of Hot Springs”
Tenzou “Our scouts placed at our own boarder into that country has been ordered into the Land of Hot Springs. So far from their movement patterns they seem to be heading in the direction of the Land of Fire and they're doing so with rather high speed”
Danzo “We should launch an ambush assault on them before they reach cover in the country”
Tobirama “No we're not going to provoke an attack. If we do we'll get strife from both Kumo and the Land of Hot Springs. I'm not looking to start a war”
Danzo “Just because you're not looking for war doesn't mean Kumo isn't. By waiting this out you're risking battle in our own country and damage to ourselves. That won't look good for us once our own Daimyou comes after us”
Councilman 2 “I hate to say it but I agree with Danzo. They're heading into our direction with massive numbers, there is no way that they're not looking for battle with us. It would do us good take some form of action”
Tenzou puts his hand to his ear, receiving a transmission from Anbu HQ.
Tenzou “Hokage-sama news just came in. The number of Kumo shinobi is nothing less then 1000 and they've entered the cover of the forest”
The rest of the room fills with whispers of worry about the situation.
Danzo “What more do you need Tobirama-sama?! We need to act!”
Tobirama “*Even I see it's unavoidable* Get a division of shinobi to our boarder and set up a barrier. The moment they pass the mountain pass near the boarder, consider it an invasion and a threat to Konoha and the country. No prisoners”
Tenzou nods and he heads out to follows out the orders. Tobirama dismisses the rest of the council and as Danzo leaves a small smile emerges on his face. Tenzou walks over behind Tobirama who has a serious look on his face.
Tobirama “How has he been?”
Tenzou “His activity has been minimum.”
Tobirama “Have you found the location of his fort?”
Tenzou “No sir? His activity hasn't been suspicious in the slightest. We've rarely lost sight of him, and he's been filling out his duties as a shinobi and heading to his dwelling. Nothing more or less”
Tobirama “What about the times you do loose him?”
Tenzou “He turns up rather quickly when we do”
Tobirama “I regret informing him that we spying on him...Things are going to be even more hectic now. I know for a fact that he's up to no good. He's being more careful and with things going the way they are right now in Kumo we have to be even more careful. I want you to keep a closer eye on him”
Tenzou “Yes Tobirama-sama”
Tenzou disappears and and Tobirama gets up and heads back to his quarters. All throughout the village multiple hawks fly in a inconspicuous pattern signaling shinobi to head to head to the boarders between the Land of Fire and Hot Springs. Dozens of shinobi race off on the roof tops adhering to the signal. Tsubaki walks out of the hospital to see all the commotion outside and gets worried. She walks through the streets of the village and as she walks she's almost knocked down by another shinobi who is running at tops speed.
Shinobi “Oh sorry, I have to go”
Tsubaki “Wait. What's going on here, why is everybody in a frenzy?”
Shinobi “I don't know the details, it's some trouble at the boarder heading into the Land of Hot Springs, they're calling out ass many division assigned shinobi as they can.”
Note: Division assigned shinobi are shinobi who always remain in the village as a type of military foundation, while every other shinobi has an assignment, whether it be to an organization like the KMPD or Anbu or is a stand by shinobi who only does missions and is and stands by awaiting missions like Tsubaki.
The shinobi heads out and Tsubaki stands their looking worried...At the boarder of the Land of Fire and Hot Springs Miyagi stands at front command of the shinobi.
Shinobi “Sir Anbu scouts report that the Kumo troops are only a few miles outside mountain pass leading into the country. Estimated time of arrival is approximated to about two hours”
Miyagi “That's plenty of time for us to prepare, what's the count on our numbers?”
Shinobi “Sir we have 1100 shinobi and more arriving”
Miyagi “No send all incoming shinobi to the back flank as secondary force. Mid-point between us and Konoha. Once that number reaches past 600 shinobi send others incoming after that back to the village”
Shinobi “Yes sir”
The shinobi leaves to go relay the orders to the rest of his comrades and superior officers. Miyagi stands with a contemplative look on his face.
Miyagi “*What is going on? The noble families of the Land of Fire and Lightning have always been rivals...and as a result Konoha has had its fair share of problems with Kumo but they've never been this direct before in their actions*”
Back in Konoha, in the underground complex of Danzo's Root foundation Danzo is seen standing on a platform above a room filled with young children fighting with four masked shinobi in black cloaks acting as overseers.
Love “Training your puppies huh?”
Love appears behind Danzo but he doesn't turn around.
Danzo “What do you want?”
Love “I came to tell you to stop being such a reckless *******. I'm getting sick and tired of you moving of your own free will and I have to be the one to cover you're pathetic ass”
Love's statement is very strong but he says it with such a calm demeanor.
Danzo “I sense hostility in your statement...I've never seen you so upset before”
Love “That's because on top of me covering you, you feel the need to sick your dogs on me like fresh meat to spy on me”
Danzo “Speaking of spying. I heard you developed some new abilities with those new eyes of yours”
Love “It's none of your business”
Danzo “No need to get so worked up, I'm only shadowing you in order to help you...just like you're doing for me”
Love “Cut the crap. I let your first couple of mutts go but you'll find that the last two you sent won't be coming back anytime soon.”
Danzo “Fine...I've never sent any of my aces to spy on you so it doesn't matter to me if they're dead. Serves them right if they couldn't keep themselves hidden, that's a cardinal rule of the shinobi”
Love “I at least decided to be courteous and look at what you're doing in front of you. I don't need to sneak around to get what I want from you”
Danzo clinches his fist and opens his eyes slightly to Love's statement. Love was implying superiority over Danzo in his own foundation, which angered Danzo. A yell echoes in the room and Danzo and Love look down to see two children. One stands over his dead comrade and is breathing heavily. Suddenly one of the cloaked shinobi comes up to Danzo.
Root Soldier “That's number 199 that's his fifth kill today, he's showing promise”
Danzo “Give me the list the top five in the academy”
Root Soldier “Numbers 199 and 230 are tied for first place, second place goes to number 302, third place goes to 317, and fourth place to 66”
Love suddenly activates his Sharingan and a kunai goes flying past Danzo and the masked shinobi right into the head of the child (199) and he drops dead. Danzo and everybody in the room turns to Love and Danzo's face fills with rage.
Danzo “WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING?!”
Love “I sense some hostility in your voice Danzo...this is collateral. You admitted to finding out about my new abilities. I risked revealing myself to conceal your movements and I've kept myself out of your affairs besides that. I know only what you've allowed me to know about your organization and yet you invade my privacy...I understand, espionage is an essential for shinobi but so is secrecy. So in return I'm going to take that boy for myself and regain my secrecy while you deal with your own affairs without my interference. I'll keep covering you as a gesture of good blood between us but as for everything else...unless it calls for our paths to meet again we'll leave each other alone agreed?”
Love appears down to where the boy is, in a split second and in another split second he appears in the door way with the boy between his arm.
Love “You had another who was tied with this one so it shouldn't be too much of a loss. You have room for another in your top five.”
Love leaves the room and Danzo's body is even more tense and angry.
Root Soldier “Danzo-sama aren't you going to do anything?”
Danzo “*Shit...I can't do anything against him in the state I'm in...I'm still in recovery, and besides...I'd barely be strong enough to do anything even with my new powers*...What are you all staring at?! Get back to your training now!”
The room of shinobi and children comply to their leader's orders and Danzo puts his hands on the railing in front of him squeezing it tightly. His hands can be seen with medical tape on them. His body is hidden under a black robe. As Love walks through the hall, exiting Danzo's foundation he cracks a little smile, while taking out the kunai from the boy's head. He pulls out a scroll and wipes the blood of the dead child onto the scroll and places both into a pouch.
Love “Who says a kekkei genkai can't be copied?”
Love continues to walk with a cynical smile on his face.
2 Hours Pass
Back at the boarder the shinobi of Konoha await the appearance of the Kumo shinobi. The estimated time of arrival has passed and both flanks of Konoha shinobi (front and rear) have been prepared. Things appear to be silent however and Miyagi gets even more confused.Miyagi “Where the hell are they? They should have been hear by now”
Shinobi “Sir status from the scouts”
Miyagi “What is it?”
Shinobi “The scouts report a full retreat on Kumo's troops.”
Miyagi “What?!”
Shinobi “About a half hour ago. The scouts said that the troops stopped and they began to retreat back to the Land of Lightning. The scouts went and followed them and the Daimyou of the Hot Springs said that he agreed to let Kumo through their country's forest paths for a military drill. The scouts are going to to the Land of Forest to see if the Daimyou allowed the same thing. It seems that this was all a training exercise”
Miyagi “(Bites his finger) *this doesn't make sense...if they were going to do such a thing they would've alerted our Daimyou as well*”
Shinobi “Sir should we mount a retreat ourselves?”
Miyagi “No go to Konoha and report this to the Hokage. Let him make the decision, until then we stay here”
Shinobi “Yes sir...but if you ask me this was just a training drill to scare us into reaction. I mean the the Land of Fire and Lightning aren't particularly close to one another”
Miyagi “You're probably right”
The shinobi leaves and Miyagi turns back in the direction of the mountain pass.
Miyagi “*This wasn't a scare...just a decoy*”
Forty five minutes pass before the shinobi returns with the order to retreat from the Hokage. Despite Miyagi's reluctance he complies with his leader's orders and calls the retreat and the shinobi head back to the village. By the time everybody returns back the village begins to go back to normal...
At the Chuunin Academy Shisui is seen overlooking a taijutsu sparing match between one of the more younger chuunin shinobi, Hiraku Hyuuga. Hiraku fights against a jounin level shinobi using his gentle fist. The jounin barrages the child with admirable skills and attacks, however the young shinobi evades his attacks. Without using any blocks or counters the shinobi practices his defense. He evades the quick attacks and with skill he gets in close to the shinobi and sticks to his body like glue, imitating the shinobi's movements and following his steps.
Shisui “Enough!”
Shisui ends the match between the two shinobi and he heads to the middle and dismisses the jounin.
Hiraku “Shisui-senpai what's the matter?”
Shisui “Nothing. I just thought you needed more of a challenge”
Shisui gets into his fighting stance, chambering his right hand with his left hand in a down block position and his feet in a Sanchin stance (Sanchin: a common stance taught in Okinawan martial arts). Hiraku smiles and gets into a cat stance and and chambers his fright hand as well and holding out his left hand in front of him. Both of his hands are open and he gets into the stance of his clan.
Shisui “We'll start with level 1”
Shisui lunges at Hiraku with moderately fast attack, however his attacks are faster the the previous shinobi's. Hiraku evades the attacks like before however he does so with more difficulty then the previous shinobi due to Shisui's speed. Despite this Hiraku till manages to defend himself without blocking or countering. Suddenly Shisui launches a kick and hits Hiraku square in the chest sending him tumbling back. Shisui increased his speed but not his power.
Shisui “You're going to have to keep up Hiraku...level 2”
Shisui's punches and kicks begin to get faster then before and Hiraku has much more difficulty defending without blocking. He begins to block, as it is needed at this point and time and he does so well. Shisui goes for a punch and Hiraku blocks it between his two hands and catches the attack and prevents Shisui from moving it. Shisui smiles and lifts up his arm with relative ease as Hiraku tries to stop him. Shisui then launches another punch, which Hiraku manages to block but the force of impact, again sends him tumbling back.
Shisui “I know your clan doesn't specialize in power based attacks, but learn to combat against a shinobi who does...level 3”
Shisui increases his power this time. Hiraku begins to get mad and activates his Byakugan. He begins to launch attacks against Shisui, aiming for his vitals with his gentle fist style taijutsu. By this point Shisui evades all of Hiraku's attacks without blocking and he counters accordingly. Just as the young shinobi did with the jounin he followed Hiraku's feet and moved and evaded with great ease. Every once in a while Shisui would counter Hiraku by attacking him in an open, undefended area, causing him to get knocked down every time. Hiraku does, however manage to get a strike off of Shisui in the shoulder and it makes his arm go numb. He sees his opportunity and heads to attack again but Shisui side steps him, and with his good hand he instantly goes for the neck and slams Hiraku to the ground. He releases Hiraku and he coughs and pants pretty hard.
Shisui “You're a strong shinobi Hiraku. You bring great honor to your clan's reputation.”
Hiraku “(panting) I'm...I'm the heir to my clan. The main household of the noble Hyuuga clan. My skills can't be anything less then spectacular”
Shisui “Indeed they are. You're one of the youngest chuunin in the village and your taijutsu is at a much higher level then that. You should be very proud of that...but you do lack in other areas, where you're going to need to improve on”
Hiraku “Well what do I have to do? Tell me so I can get stronger”
Shisui “You remind me a lot of my teammate Kagami...listen come back here tomorrow morning at 6 am. I'll take you on as your personal trainer”
Hiraku “But senpai, aren't you supposed to be on vacation?”
Shisui “Yes...but I like to spend my vacation time training, it's productive. This will be a good experience for the both of us”
Hiraku “Fine I will”
Hiraku leaves the building while Shisui smiles at him as he does. Hiraku makes it back to the Hyuuga main strong hold where he greets his parents and baby (actually 3 year old) sister...
Note: Hiraku is the 12 year old heir to the prestigious taijutsu genius Hyuuga clan. Hiraku became a genin when he was 11 and in only a year became a chuunin which far superior taijutsu abilities then most shinobi in the village. Like all members of his clan he possesses the Byakugan dojutsu. His family (the main branch) has the strongest Byakugan in the clan.
