a hyuuga hokage?, would happen the same thing that happened with the uchiha,

Well if not any of them then I choose.... Well Gai because he is smarter than given credit for or Head of the Hyuuga clan(forgot his name) but he seems strong being the head and all.
Not necessarily, Uchiha and Senju feuded for Hundreds of years, and Madara was bitter about not becoming hokage, i mean who have hyuga's been feuding with, using that logic no-one from a clan can be hokage
Gai, whatever you say is not smart enough to be the hokage, he is too hot headed and is just a bit retarded, Shikaku May not be overwhelmingly strong but this is just after the 4th war, i doubt he'll need to be too strong i mean no-one is gonna be attacking cause naruto will bring peace ^-^ And if not naruto isn't dead he just doesn't want to be hokage so he can still protect the village, Shikaku would be the best hokage in this situation
Not really, Shikaku is smart enough to be hokage, Isn't a Bad fighter, Is well known, Its just after a huge war in which the villages have been working together and making bonds and friendships, there is little threat of an attack from the other villages and even if they attack, Naruto can still protect the village, he's not dead he just declined the job, And If not shikaku then the Hyuga clan leader but im still going to go with Shikaku
Reading your other thread dude. I suppose the only clan who would realy have a problem with another clan getting the Hokage position would be the Uchiha's, who aren't around anymore... you make a very good point

I would take Shikaku as well for the reasons that others have already mentioned. He may not be the strongest fighter, but then again neither is Tsunade and she makes a good Hokage. She's physically powerful, but she doesn't excel at combat. She excels at healing. Shikaku has the brains necessary to be a leader, and we've never actually seen him fight but I'm sure he could hold his own some pretty strong enemies.
Looking at the points said beforehand, I think I have to say Shikaku. He does have the brains to be Hokage. And as Hokagekid has stated, we haven't seen him with a lot of combat, so don't have enough info to comment on his combat. But as I stated, Naruto is still alive and able to protect the village, so it shouldn't be a big problem anyway...

to tell the truth, if shikaku is at least on level of shikamaru in fighting, than he´s strong, i mean a lot of people forget that shikamaru actually "killed" IMMORTAL FREAK
I think Shikaku will be like Shikamaru, in the sense that he will use strategy, rather than brute strength. Hopefully we will get to see something from him during the war, as it would be interesting to see him fight
